Wisdom is solely from Allah and He is the giver of it, it is the mindedness and foresight to see the elegance and reason in everything we go through in life be it good or bad. One of Allah’s Names is Al Hakeem- the All-Wise. When we solely believe and rely on Allah’s most exalted Wisdom, and view everything with the lens revealed in His glorious Book (Al-Qur’an), we can gain astute focus and attain dual success n life and life-after.

Fundamentally, Allah (S. W. T) mentioned: “showed the Qur’an” even before the notice of the creation or the keen discourse of people because the Quran gives people a definitive insight and direction to manage the high points and low points of life all the more nimbly. The Quranic information isn’t just about the knowledge of the psyche yet, in addition, the otherworldly insight of confidence and direction that is established in the heart.

One of the other words that are used to refer to the glorious Quran is Al Hakeem: the wise book. Allah, The All-Wise, sent down the Qur’an through Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) to teach us wisdom. This highly placed descriptive interpretation of intelligence is paramount to our success that Allah swore by it: ”

“Ya, Seen. By the Quran, rich in wisdom!” [Quran 36: 1-2]

Allah revealed the ultimate wisdom or intelligence through the Divine revelations to His chosen messengers whom He instructed to teach and reflect His Hikma to people. Allah commanded Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him):
“Invite to the way of your Lord with Hikma and kind teaching.” [Quran 16:125]

To restore dead and blackened hearts, guide lost souls/nations, bring conviction during the vulnerabilities of life, the quality Allah (S. W. T) asked the Prophet (Peace be upon him) to use was wisdom. The Beloved Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) embraced an undeniable degree of wisdom when aiming towards resuscitating infertile hearts and he was the ideal illustration of wisdom in his life managing every one of the difficulties and vulnerabilities he confronted when he began calling individuals to Allah’s way.

Notably, there is mountainous wisdom behind trials, and some of the aforementioned points can help to understand how to see the essence of such happenstance.

1 – To direct absolute submission and worship (‘uboodiyyah) to Allaah, the Lord of the Worlds.
Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):
“And among mankind is he who worships Allaah as it were upon the edge (i.e. in doubt): if good befalls him, he is content therewith; but if a trial befalls him he turns back on his face (i.e. reverts to disbelief after embracing Islam). He loses both this world and the Hereafter. That is the evident loss”[al-Hajj 22:11]

2 – Attainment of actual success
It was said to Imam al-Shaafa’i (may Allah have mercy on him): Which is better, patience or tests or prevailing? He said: Prevailing is the level attained by the Prophets, and there can be no prevailing except after trials. If a person is tried he will become patient, and if he remains patient he will prevail.

3 – Expungement of Sins
al-Tirmidhi (2399) narrated that Abu Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Trials will continue to befall the believing man or woman in himself, his child and his wealth until he meets Allaah with no sin on him.” Narrated by al-Tirmidhi (2399), classed as Saheeh by al-Albaani in al-Silsilah al-Saheehah, 2280.

It was narrated that Anas (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) “When Allaah wills good for His slave, He hastens the punishment for him in this world, and when Allaah wills ill for His slave, He withholds the punishment for his sins from him his sin until he comes with all his sins on the Day of Resurrection.” Narrated by al-Tirmidhi (2396); classed as Saheeh by al-Albaani in al-Silsilah al-Saheehah (1220).

4 – Actualization of higher status
Muslim (2572) narrated that ‘Aa’ishah (may Allaah be pleased with her) said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “The believer is not harmed by a thorn or anything greater, but Allaah will raise him in status thereby, or erase a sin thereby.”

5 – Resolution and a means to change for better

6 – Trials are great lessons in Tawheed, faith, and trust in Allaah
May Almighty Allah grant us Tawfeeq always and grant us wisdom to surmount trials.

Aameen.

And Allah is the source of all goodness.
