I have always said Christianity and lies are two sides of a coin. These lies are padded with ignorance. They hide under the “Holy Spirit” to say what comes from their shallow thinking. Many times I wonder if they actually read what they carry about.

There are times one should ask himself if what he says is sensible. We all have brains , but we all don’t use it appropriately!
Evangelism has moved from the era of deceit. In this century, if you can’t proof what you preach logically, forget it. Yes, I mean it.

It will not be out of place to say the writer of the piece is nothing but an ignoramus. Or what do you say of a person who compares apples to oranges. You say fallacy of false equivalence? Or is it fallacy of false analogy?
The text is all about how Eid ul Adha shouldn’t be celebrated because Jesus has come to die for us, so no need for animal sacrifice anymore. The same lie being repeated every time.

From the very opening text, the writer goofed. He wrote, “Our Muslim friends say Abraham was a Muslim and that this festival is to reenact the sacrifice that Abraham made in obedience to sacrificing his son.”

May I put it straight that we don’t say Abraham was a Muslim. Abraham’s Lord said so.

Aal-e-Imran 3:67

Abraham was neither a Jew nor a Christian, but he was one inclining toward truth, a Muslim [submitting to Allah ]. And he was not of the polytheists.

That settled, Muslims also do not celebrate Eid ul Adha to “reenact” the sacrifice that Abraham made in obedience to sacrificing his son as the writer alleged. To reenact is to recreate the event each year. To reenact is to take children for slaughter while we hope an animal is given in replacement. We don’t reenact, rather we celebrate the obedience of Abraham, his piety and total submission of his son to the will of Allah just as his father submitted. The willingness of Abraham to sacrifice his son for the sake of Allah caused Allah to spare his son’s life, and therefore animal was sacrificed in his place. This was a miracle of Allah and it proved that he has command over all things and the known and the unknown. It is because of this holy incident in the History of Islam that the Muslims now celebrate Eid ul Adha every year to earn Allah’s blessings and forgiveness.

Meanwhile, the sacrifice is not what Allah needs.
Al-Hajj 22:37

Their meat will not reach Allah, nor will their blood, but what reaches Him is piety from you. Thus have We subjected them to you that you may glorify Allah for that [to] which He has guided you; and give good tidings to the doers of good.

It is glaring the writer didn’t study the reason Muslims do Eid ul Adha. If we reenact, do we all have the predicament Abraham had?

In his opinion as he pointed, if we want to do the religion of Abraham, the ‘Islam’ of Abraham, we should do it the way Abraham did his own. We should note here that the writer meant how he sacrificed his son. This is ridiculous.
The writer opined it should have been our children we would take to the mountain to offer for sacrifice. If we don’t hear God, then we slaughter them. Very ridiculous!

We didn’t receive the revelation Abraham had. These are the reasons we are not reenacting the event, we are only celebrating the piety of Abraham and his son. If it pains you we love Abraham more than you do, join us and stop the hatred.

I wonder if people reason. So we should not buy the animal to slaughter because the animal Allah replaced the son of Abraham with wasn’t bought? This is to say the least, dumb! This is a complete fallacy. I’m not surprised though, I’m only disappointed. How can we even compare both? Now I know why humans are flogged, nailed and wounded to celebrate how Jesus was “sacrificed “. Now I know why you give poison to a willing person to be sacrificed to reenact the event of Easter. Now I know why you must find a virgin to give birth to a boy to celebrate the birth of your Lord and saviour. The event has to be same, you don’t celebrate the outcome, you celebrate how it happens?

It is not over yet, the writer also opined since the ram of Abraham wasn’t killed to be eaten, why do we eat it? Was Jesus killed to be eaten? Why do you kill animals and cook with rice and amala during Easter? Was there any record of Joseph and Mary sharing food on the occasion of the birth of Jesus Christ? Its just pure commonsense. We don’t recreate an event to celebrate it.

If by not doing the sacrifice as exactly Abraham did it and God replaced his son means we are not doing the Islam if Abraham, are Christians doing the Christianity of Jesus Christ? Which church did he attend? What day? How did he worship?

The whole idea to rub the eid celebration in mud is to advertise the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Firstly, the sacrifice we make on Eid is not to cleanse our original sins. So why do you even compare it to the sacrifice of Jesus Christ in Christianity?
I was surprised to read that the writer used John 1:26 to justify how Jesus is the lamb to cleanse our sins just as the lamb replaced the son of Abraham. Is it not amazing to see an evangelical comparison between the sacrifice of Abraham and that of Jesus Christ biblically? The former is to test the faith, the later is to cleanse sins, but why are Christians lacking simple understanding and logic?

The correct verse quoted is not actually 26, it is 29,

The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, BEHOLD THE LAMB OF GOD, WHICH TAKETH AWAY THE SIN OF THE WORLD.(John1:29)

This is a clear contradiction of another verse of the Bible.

And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the LAMB SLAIN FROM THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD.(Revelation 13:8)

One verse says Jesus showed as the Lamb to take away the sins of the world, another verse says the Lamb has been slain from the beginning, the foundation, or the creation of the world. Is it a seasonal movie? Part one and two?
Who slaughtered the first lamb, which sin did he die for?
If the first lamb, Jesus is the same second lamb, has he been killed twice?
Christians gets their ropes entangled the more they want to explain how Jesus died for their sins.

We are not the one that committed sin, we didn’t inherit any sin. Jesus isn’t the one who ate forbidden fruit, why should he die for it? Man didn’t commit sin, only Adam and his wife transgressed, is it our fault?

“The word of the LORD came to me:
“What do you people mean by quoting this proverb about the land of Israel: “’The parents eat sour grapes, and the children’s teeth are set on edge’?
“As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign LORD, you will no longer quote this proverb in Israel.
For everyone belongs to me, the parent as well as the child —both alike belong to me. The one who sins is the one who will die.
(Ezekiel 18:1-4)

“Yet you ask, ’Why does the son not share the guilt of his father?’ Since the son has done what is just and right and has been careful to keep all my decrees, he will surely live.
The one who sins is the one who will die. The child will not share the guilt of the parent, nor will the parent share the guilt of the child. The righteousness of the righteous will be credited to them, and the wickedness of the wicked will be charged against them.
“But if a wicked person turns away from all the sins they have committed and keeps all my decrees and does what is just and right, that person will surely live; they will not die.
None of the offenses they have committed will be remembered against them. Because of the righteous things they have done, they will live. (Ezekiel 18:20-24)

One who sins will suffer for it. So the idea that God became man to die for the sin His creature committed is absolute nonsense. He is a forgiving God, why couldn’t He forgive Adam and his wife only for him to sacrifice himself for himself? He slaughtered himself at the foundation of the earth and came as the son of Himself to allow his creatures to carry out the concluding part of the movie? Common! Do you have sense?

We are Muslims, we revere all the prophets. Islam is our religion. We have two major Eid; Eid ul Fitri and Adha. We sacrifice animals for rewards from Allah and enjoy on these days.

Al-Hajj 22:34

And for all religion We have appointed a rite [of sacrifice] that they may mention the name of Allah over what He has provided for them of [sacrificial] animals. For your god is one God, so to Him submit. And, [O Muhammad], give good tidings to the humble [before their Lord]

Al-Hajj 22:36

And the camels and cattle We have appointed for you as among the symbols of Allah ; for you therein is good. So mention the name of Allah upon them when lined up [for sacrifice]; and when they are [lifeless] on their sides, then eat from them and feed the needy and the beggar. Thus have We subjected them to you that you may be grateful.

Al-Hajj 22:37

Their meat will not reach Allah, nor will their blood, but what reaches Him is piety from you. Thus have We subjected them to you that you may glorify Allah for that [to] which He has guided you; and give good tidings to the doers of good.
