WHO IS THAT PARTICULAR COMFORTER? ISLAM PROPHET MUHAMMAD?, LETS CHECK ON THE TIME GIVEN BY JESUS OF THE COMING OF THE COMFORTER.
According to the Christian ,the comforter is the Holy Spirit, in order to resolve that confusion , we look at the timing given by Jesus, in JOHN {16:7}
Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. {16:8} And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment.
But the fact is that the holy spirit has been coming unto Jesus in JOHN {20:22} And when he had said this, he breathed on [them,] and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:
Also Jesus cast out devils with the holy spirit in Matthew {12:28} But
if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you
.MAtthew{3:16} And Jesus,
when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the
water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he
saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting
upon him: {3:17} And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This
is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
THESE CLEARLY SHOWS THAT THE COMING OF THAT COMFORTER HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT. But the fact is that the comforter too will be assisted by the Holy Spirit because the bible said in 2nd Peter {1:20} Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. {1:21} For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spoke [as they were] moved by the Holy Ghost. This is to say that even the prophet Muhammad was assisted by the Holy spirit. The Quran also confirmed that in Quran 16: 102. Say, [O Muúammad], “The Pure Spirit [i.e., Gabriel] has brought it down from your Lord in truth to make firm those who believe and as guidance and good tidings to the Muslims.” This indicate that prophet Muhammad was the one that came after Jesus pbuh.
WHO WAS MUHAMMAD??
Muhammad pbuh was descended from Abraham,The Bible made us to understand that Abraham had 2 sons, The first Son of Abraham was Ishmael Genesis 16:15-16 and the second son was Isaac Genesis 21: 4-5 And Abraham circumcised his son Isaac being eight days old, as God had commanded him. And Abraham was an hundred years old, when his son Isaac was born unto him. The descendants of Abraham through Isaac were the Jews and the descendants of Abraham through Ishamael were the Arabs,This implies that the Jews and the Arabs descended through Abraham.Even Jesus as a Prophet,David and Solomon descended from abrahm through Isaac through Jacob Matthew 1:1-2.Book of the geneology of Jesus.Then the last Prophet Muhammad that came after Jesus descended From Abraham through Ishmael.The Muslims all over the world believe in all the prophets through Abraham through Isaac and Jesus was the last of Them through d lineage of Isaac.That is why Jesus said in Matthew {21:42} Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes? {21:43} Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof. The covenant of God has been established and come to an end with the coming of Jesus among the jewish people and it will be given to the Arabian nation.
Jesus never claimed to be the final prophet but he said somebody is coming after me and he will guide you unto all the truth and when he comes he will tell you many things about me and its only the Holy quran that succeed in that. After the Gospel of Jesus there was no other scripture that was revealed apart of the Holy quran .
REASON?
The previous scriptures has been corrupted,The scriptures revealed to Jesus,Moses and other Prophets has been tampered with,That is why we have different Versions of the bible like the catholic version contain 73 books ,the protestant version contain 66 books.The additional books were called the Book of Apocrypha. Martin Luther was the first person to protest against the catholic church for the addition of the 7 books, That is why he was expelled from the catholic church which lead him to the provision of his own church called the protestant church.
On the 8th of September 1957, the headquarters of the Jehova witness in America published a magazine titled 50,000 errors in the Bible.And when you read the preface of the revised standard Version of the Bible of 1952 and the revised standard version of 1971 in page 5 they mentioned something about the king james Version they said Yet the king james version has grave defects.by the middle of the 19th century, the development of biblical studies and the discovery of manuscripts more ancient than those upon which the king james version was based ,made it manifest that these defects are so many and so serious as to call for the revision of the English translation also that The king james version of the New testament was based upon a Greek test that was married by mistakes containing the accumulated errors, intercollection ,fabrication of 14th century of Manuscript copying ” that was what brought about the Revised standard Version of 1952 and 1971.
Because of the version issues ,there is need for a true final and everlasting message including the messages of the prophet.thats why even the bible prophesy about the coming of the true and final message in 1st Corinthian 13:9-10 {13:9} For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. {13:10} But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away. So according to the bible there is an final, complete everlasting message that will be free from errors that will descend from heaven, and that was the statement of Jesus in Matthew 24:14 ,when u start from matthew 24:3 to 13 when jesus was talking of the hours .Then in verse 14 Jesus Mention that “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.”That is before the end time there will be an eternal Gospel that will come And this has been confirmed from the book of revelation {14:6-7} And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, {14:7} Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.
