Governors Storm Ta’awun Commissioning Ceremony, Give Support To The Organisation
The governor of Borno State, Alhaji Kaasim Shetima, his counterpart from Kebbi state, Alhaji Atiku Bagudu and the governor of the State of Osun, Ogbeni Abdul Rauf Aregbesola today (6/7/2017) stormed the inauguration ceremony of the Islamic Centre for Research and Human Development under the auspices of Jama’at Ta’awunil Muslimeen.
The centre in Iwo which was inaugurated by the governor of the State of Osun is said to be a distinct entity that will assist the prospects and all round developments of Islamic intellectualism, education, ideology, economy and politics. Also aims at safeguarding Islamic ideas, spiritual values and ethos.
In their addresses, the governor of Borno and Kebbi State respectively encouraged the organisation not to relent in its good work, educational programmes and other developmental projects embarking upon for the well-being of the people; and promised to always give support and assistance to true Islamic propagation.
The governor of the State of Osun, Ogbeni Abd. Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola while addressing the Jama’at, said he was happy to associate himself with Ta’awun organisation for its peaceful manner of Islamic propagation. He thanked the National President and the organisation for its supports.
The National President, Sheikh Daood Imran Molaasan, expressed his gratitude to the governors, asked them to always support the centre for Muslim development.
Senator Ali Ndume, the formal Senate leader, APC Borno State Chairman, Alhaji Alli Bukka, Speaker Osun State House of Assembly, Hon Najimdeen Salam, Secretary to the State government, Alhaji Moshood Adeoti, Chief of Staff State of Osun, Alhaji Gboyaga Oyetola, House of Assembly members were all also present at the commissioning among others dignitaries.
