On the Coronavirus being a punishment fkntjejr government’s atrocities towards the Muslims issue, I think I have been very apologetic on my opinion on the issue as a respect to people who have a contrary opinion. Unfortunately, this contrary opinion is becoming pretty annoying that I have to come to the conclusion that, perhaps, people are blind, that they cannot see issues clearly or just being deliberately delusional.
This morning, I read from another person, a warning to India to be careful of its evil to the Muslims lest they see something worse than the Coronavirus.
It beats my imagination that, a. Muslim, would specifically associate a calamity to a certain evil. Did Allah not say,
“Say: “None in the heavens and the earth knows the Ghaib (Unseen) except Allaah, nor can they perceive when they shall be resurrected”
[al-Naml 27:65]“And with Him are the keys of the Ghayb (all that is hidden), none knows them but He. And He knows whatever there is in the land and in the sea; not a leaf falls, but He knows it. There is not a grain in the darkness of the earth nor anything fresh or dry, but is written in a Clear Record”
[al-An’aam 6:59]“(He Alone is) the All‑Knower of the Ghayb (Unseen), and He reveals to none His Ghayb (Unseen)”
Other than nkt having knowledge of the unseen, how does the Coronavirus affects only the Chinese non-Muslims alone? If a travel ban is placed on India, would it not affect the Chinese Muslims too? The Iranian Health Minister tested positive to the Virus, oh! Makes no difference because he is Shi’a, right? Now, Saudi places a temporary ban on entry for Umrah and to the Prophet’s Mosque, how are Muslims not affected by this?
This is an estimate of the impact of the Coronavirus in numbers;
Countries with cases: 48
Total cases: 82,000
Total deaths: 2,800
Coronavirus in China:
Total cases: 78,000
Total deaths: 2,747
Total recovered: 32,531
Estonia, Denmark, Georgia, Brazil, Pakistan, Sweden, Norway, Greece, Romania and Algeria have just recorded their first confirmed cases.
While we ask Allah to punish the oppressors, we ask Allah to safe us from the evil of the calamity virus.
This morning, when I shared the story of the temporary ban by Saudi, someone asked if I am telling him to be scared of death and I replied by asking him to go on the next available flight to Wuhan, China.
Perhaps, if we focus more on intellect that emotions, we would see clearly and have a better sense of judgment.
Our position is that Allah knows best. Our knowledge is limited, so, we cannot specifically attach it to the evil of the chines government against the Muslims, in the same vein, we cannot say it is not a punishment from Allah.
The Coronavirus is seen as a future pandemic as it is spreading everywhere. Allah knows best and may He save us from it. Aameen
