Qur’an 9:32 states, “They want to extinguish the light of Allah with their mouths, but Allah will perfect His light, although the disbelievers dislike it.”
Upon contemplation of this verse, it becomes evident that the polemics directed against Islam are nothing more than a heap of nonsense. Christian polemicists attempt to disparage Islam with their words, decrying and disdainfully representing it; however, Allah will invariably perfect His light. This paper is a response to a purported book penned by a self-proclaimed investigator of Islam, titled “Read your Qur’an” by Folarin Sunday. The author claims the book is powerful, enlightening about the Qur’an, yet a cursory perusal reveals it to be a collection of recycled arguments, lacking any advancement.
