The Emir Of Ilorin in his contribution to curtailing the spread of the novel Covid-19 has directed all Muslims to observe their Eid prayer at Home.
In a statement signed by Alhaji Abdulhameed Abdullahi, the Imam Imale of Ilorin and Vice Chairman, Ilorin Emirate council of Ulamah, he said “Muslims are reminded that the first rakah of Eid Il fitri nafilat attracts seven Allahu Akbar while the second attracts six reading, the Imam leading the family prayer must avoid delivering Kutbah Before abd after the prayer”
He further said “the directive of the Kwara state government concerning keeping social distance among others at this time of Covid-19 aimed at protecting lives and public safety must be complied with by the worshippers”
The Mai Martaba and Seriki Muslumi congratulates the entire Muslim Community for witnessing the end of 2020 Ramadan in advance.
