The Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA) has announced the sighting of the moon on Tuesday.
The announcement which was made on twitter says Wednesday is the first day of Dhul Hijja.
Dhul Hijjah crescent was sighted in different locations in Nigeria this evening, some of the locations are: Abuja, Jalingo, Ilorin, Lafia, Minna and Misau. Tomorrow is the 1st day of Dhul Hijjah, the Sultanate will release an official statement inshaallah.
