A Widow, Daughter, and Faith on Trial – KnowIslam Project

This is an urgent call to assist a mother and daughter who reverted to Islam and abandoned by family.
Their Story
The daughter, now Zainab, embraced Islam at ACADIP 2021 Ramadan Lecture held in Ede where Mallam Yusuf Adepoju gave her the Shahadah. Shortly after that, Mallam also gave her mother, a widow, the Shahadah too after some dialogue she had with Ameer ACADIP Benin Branch.
Following her reversion, they were both rejected by their family(siblings inclusive) leaving the 22-year-old to take care of her sick mother alone. The mother’s health continue to deteriorate due to high BP and lack of good food. The daughter had to leave her job to take care of the mother.
For two female struggling reverts, living in Egor, Siloko road Benin City, Edo State is quite a struggle too.
The KnowIslam Project is, on their behalf, soliciting for the sum of #500, 000 to cover the cost of managing her mother’s health, help the daughter start a POS business and move them to Osun, where the daughter has relationship with Muslims, to have a sense of belonging and protect their faith.
