Report: Ramadan 2026 Outreach — KnowIslam Project

This Ramadan, the KnowIslam Project distributed food items worth 500, 000 naira in Wuro Bawa Gombe State.

100, 000 naira was sent to ACADIP (Academy of Islam Propagation) Ila Orangun Branch, Osun State as a token of support to reverts under their care and 100, 000 naira each to two reverts to support their businesses.

A brother reached out regarding a sister he saw in a comment section on Tiktok where Àṣàkẹ́ the musician was being insulted because he went for Umrah. In the comment section, she requested for prayers given what she’s experiencing as a new revert to Islam.

AlhamduliLlah, Allah increased the ‘Ummah through one of the reverts in our group and the KnowIslam Project has sent a token of 20, 000.

When Abu AmmaaRoyh Umar Aderibigbe reached out during Ramadan and asked I’d KnowIslam Project qualifies for Zakat, I told him yes and asked if he’d like to to be for reverts or for some other cause and he said, “I mean KnowIslam Project itself”.

He, brother Umar is the first and only person to have specifically said I am giving this amount to the KnowIslam Project. We are not complaining. Myself, Lucas Bashir and others who are affiliated with the KnowIslam Project have reasonably good jobs and off of Da’wah, we are more than happy to fund KnowIslam Project with our finances. However, we can do so much more with much help.

Therefore, when you think of Zakat and Sadaqah, include KnowIslam Project. Users who often use our KnowIslam AI complain sometimes that it doesn’t work and that’s because we have exhausted our API credits. With just $200, KnowIslam AI will work seamlessly for a whole year.

We also welcome Dr. Sekinat Adesina to KnowIslam Project —our latest volunteer. A revert of 15 years, she will provide guidance and counselling alongside therapy for reverts, this she will do in collaboration with Sheikhs we work with.
