Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) and parents of hijab-wearing Muslim students of the International School, University of Ibadan (ISI) will In Shaa Allaah be in *court 8, Ring road, Ibadan Oyo state, on Thursday 23rd January, 2020. By 9:00AM* to enforce the fundamental human rights with regards to our religion, and to liberate our children and Muslims who were religiously oppressed, intimidated and coerced in other not to express their faith freedom as guaranteed by the constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria.
You will recall that after MURIC first appearance in court on the 1st of November 2019, presided over by Justice T. Taiwo who recused himself from hearing the case before him due to his closeness to one of the defendant Prof E. B. Ekanola (UI DVC ACADEMIC and Chairman ISI UI governing board).
The case have therefore been transferred to another judge, Justice Akintola. (Note: This justice Akintola does not in anyway related to MURIC Director, Professor Akintola)
We therefore call on the Muslim ummah not to relent in this struggle and join us to get our children their Allah given fundamental right protected under the law.
We ask Allaah to grant us victory against our enemies (Aameen)
