Nigerian Officials Commenced Distribution of Dates Donated by Saudi Arabia After Investigation
Earlier last week, the social media space went agog with 200 Tonnes dates donated by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Nigerians especially the ones in IDP camps in Borno and other places, which were being commercialized by the officials and found in Nigerian Markets.
After the situation, the Nigerian Government set up an investigation crew to demystify the corrupt act, in a swift reaction to this, the officials have started sharing the remaining dates to few IDPs and uploaded the process on social media platforms.
The pictures were reported to be taken in Kano, Nigeria.
Also, the Nigerian Government has duly apologized to the authorities of Saudi Arabia over the ugly incident and vowed to bring the culprits to book.
