A SHORT STORY OF A REVERT

This article contains a short story of a revert to Islam.

He embraced Islam on the 11th January, 2015 during an ACADIP (Academy Of Islamic Propagation) program that was live in Ibadan, Oyo state.

His name is Johnson Ayomide now Abdulazeez, he hails from Akoko Edo, Edo state, but he was born and bred in Ibadan, Oyo state.

He is a comparative religion student, and currently studies at the Acadip Institute Of Comparative Religion Studies (AICOS), an institute of comparative religion studies chaired by ACADIP’s chief lecturer, Ustaz Yusuf Adepoju, who doubles as Johnson Abdulazeez’s mentor.

He commenced the Comparative Religion Studies last year, 2017 and will graduate after completing his course by 14th January 2018, and thereafter will become a certified religion comparator.

As a comparator, he has debated with many non-muslims and people of other religion, and discussed about Islam and it’s true teachings to them. He has engaged in Dawah sessions with non-muslims and answered series of questions about Islam in the bid to promote the beauty and teachings of Islam to non-muslims.

Initially, his parents and immediate family are against his conversion to Islam which is a normal routine in the present day society when one is converting to a religion that is not practised by one’s immediate family but with diligence, persistence and pertinence, he stood out, took a stand and Alhamdulillah, here he is.

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you, formerly Johnson Ayomide, now Johnson Abdulazeez Ayomide.
