Below is the conversation between a Questionnaire and a Revert on #LIFEOFAREVERT
In the name of Allah, The Most Beneficent, The Merciful.
Questionnaire: Can you tell us about your life as a revert to Islam?
Revert: Hmmmmmm! Where should i start?
Questionnaire: Anywhere you think you can.
Revert: Life of a revert starts with determination. One must be determined that he/she embrace the deen and wants to practice it for his/her own sake not to please anybody but to please Allah his maker and nourisher.
Allah says;
Surah Al-Baqara, Verse 256:
لَا إِكْرَاهَ فِي الدِّينِ قَد تَّبَيَّنَ الرُّشْدُ مِنَ الْغَيِّ فَمَن يَكْفُرْ بِالطَّاغُوتِ وَيُؤْمِن بِاللَّهِ فَقَدِ اسْتَمْسَكَ بِالْعُرْوَةِ الْوُثْقَىٰ لَا انفِصَامَ لَهَا وَاللَّهُ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ
There is no compulsion in religion; truly the right way has become clearly distinct from error; therefore, whoever disbelieves in the Shaitan and believes in Allah he indeed has laid hold on the firmest handle, which shall not break off, and Allah is Hearing, Knowing.
Questionnaire: Okay, Please continue..
Revert: Challenges up and down, What will he/she do?
He/She will hold on to Allah’s rope.
Allah says;
Surah Yunus, Verse 107:
وَإِن يَمْسَسْكَ اللَّهُ بِضُرٍّ فَلَا كَاشِفَ لَهُ إِلَّا هُوَ وَإِن يُرِدْكَ بِخَيْرٍ فَلَا رَادَّ لِفَضْلِهِ يُصِيبُ بِهِ مَن يَشَاءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ وَهُوَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ
And if Allah should afflict you with harm, then there is none to remove it but He; and if He intends good to you there is none to repel His grace; He brings it to whom He pleases of His servants; and He is the Forgiving, the Merciful.
Questionnaire: Alright. Why do you think Islam is the right path and what makes you to utter the Shahadah quickly?
Revert: Allah clearly states in so many verses proving Islam is the only way to Paradise. Verses like;
*Quran 3:85
*Quran 3:102
*Quran 3:19 and lots more.
Quickly you just said? No! It takes me 6 – 7months before i finally made the decision to embrace Islam.
Questionnaire: What were you doing in that six months?
Revert: Making some empirical researches about the two Faith and asking questions up and down.
Questionnaire: From who?
Revert: My Church Pastors, Hot Gospelers, Bible study teachers, Theologians and other appropriate websites for clarifications.
Questionnaire: So what did you find after your research?
Revert: I found the truth about what Christianity is all about, The mischief of the forgers was clearly exposed.
Questionnaire: Did you compare the Quran and the Bible as a book of reference during your research?
Revert: Yes! Quran is one, (114 chapters throughout), Allah Akbar..
Unlike the Bible, We have;

*66 BOOKS IN THE PROTESTANT BIBLE
*73 BOOKS IN THE ROMAN CATHOLIC VERSION
*76 BOOKS IN THE CHARISMATIC VERSION
*75 BOOKS IN THE COPTIC VERSION?
*78 BOOKS IN THE GREEK ORTHODOX VERSION?
*81 BOOKS IN THE ETHIOPIC VERSION
*86 BOOKS IN THE ORTHODOX VERSION
Questionnaire: Don’t you think of what your Parents will say or there next step of action? What if they disown you?
Revert: Alhamdulilahi. One thing am sure about is that putting one’s trust in Allah is enough for someone. Let me borrow this verse from the Bible;
Psalm 27:10 When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up.
Questionnaire: What if your parents don’t support you in anything?
Revert: Allah is full in provision as Allah says;
Surah Ar-Room, Verse 37:
أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا أَنَّ اللَّهَ يَبْسُطُ الرِّزْقَ لِمَن يَشَاءُ وَيَقْدِرُ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يُؤْمِنُونَ
Do they not see that Allah makes ample provision for whom He pleases, or straitens? Most surely there are signs in this for a people who believe.
Questionnaire: Have you faced some challenges after being a revert?
Revert: So many but holding fast to Allah’s deen is the most important thing, Allah’s aid is sought.
Questionnaire: Are you happy being call a Muslim?
Revert: Yes, That is the greatest Joy one can ever have.
Questionnaire: What differences do you see in Islam and Christianity?
Revert: So many but let me name just a few like;
*Mode of worship
*Concept of God
*Mischief of the Forgers
*Which book is the real word of God between the Quran and the Bible?
*Giving respects to Prophets according to both Faith
*Doctrine, e.t.c
