ASSALAMU ALAIKUM..
I wish to write this rejoinder to the so-called Muslim convert which appeared to be a sponsored missionary propagandist.
I HAVE IDENTIFIED ABOUT TEN POINTS OR MISCONCEPTIONS FROM HER CLAIMS EVEN I HAVE REFUTED SOME OF THEM BEFORE.
I WISH TO MAKE IT IN BATCHES FOR THE PURPOSE OF COMPREHENSION AND UNDERSTANDING.
CLAIM NUMBER ONE:
THAT PROPHET MUHAMMAD ASKED THE MUSLIMS TO CONSULT THE CHRISTIANS /BIBLE FOR GUIDANCE .Q 10:94
OUR RESPONSE :
Many Christians are victims of modern spiritual illiteracy and ignorance as a result of their eagerness to tarnish the image of Islam and the Entire Muslim community.
The above verse is only trying to expose facts so that any Person who is in doubt (Jew & Christians inclusive) or those that may attempt to deny the truth contained in the Qur’an should check the previous revelations (books) to verify the facts contained in the Qur’an .
Many Christians are not aware that Jesus said prophet Muhammad pbuh will mentioned things about Jesus and his mission.
Therefore, what the verse is saying is to verify the claims of the Qur’an if any Jew or Christian is doubtful about what Prophet Muhammad pbuh says..
For example :
The Qur’an claim that God is not a Man nor son of Man (like Jesus) Qur’an 112:1_4…which can be confirmed in the book of Numbers 23:19
The Qur’an claim that nothing can be compared unto God ( Q112:4)
This can be confirmed in Isaiah 40:18
The Qur’an claim that all prophets preached oneness of God Q 21:25.
See Isaiah 44:6, Deutronomy 6:4, Exodus 20:1_5, Mark 12:28_30 And John 17:3 For the confirmation.
The Qur’an claim that Jesus was only sent to the children of Israel (Q 61:4) which can be confirmed in Matthew 15:24 and Mathew 10:5_6
The Qur’an claim that the laws of capital punishment and other offences are found in the Bible Q 5:45
Which can be confirmed in Exodus 21:23_25
The Qur’an claim that All believers worship with their faces to the ground in the previous revelations Q 48:29
This is confirmed in Matthew 26:39, Nehemiah 8:_5_6,
The Qur’an claim that previous revelations had been adulterated with additional human words in the so_called divine books. Q 2:72 & Q 3:78
This claim can be confirmed in Jeremiah 8:8, Luke 1:1_3, 1 Corinthians 7:13, 1 Corinthians 7:6, 2 Corinthians 11:1, Romans 3:7… In addition to the present versions of the Bibles in circulation
There are several claims in the Qur’an on different issues which the doubting Christians will come to know if only they will read their Bibles with out any bias or religious sentiment..
I have just picked up a few of these claims and their confirmation.
Therefore, the above verse was not asking the Muslims to consult the Christians but its an open challenge for them to study their books and justify what The Qur’an is saying..
CLAIM NUMBER TWO :
THAT PROPHET MUHAMMAD PBUH DIED PERMANENTLY BUT JESUS DIED AND RESURRECTED…
OUR RESPONSE :
Prophet Muhammad pbuh did not instruct his followers to attach any undue divinity to him except what Allah has permitted for him.
The Qur’an stated clearly that prophet Muhammad is a human being like us as mentioned in Surah 18:110 ” which says” Say (O Muhammed pbuh) I am only a Man like you… ”
Therefore the Muslims are not denying his natural death because every human being must die.. Q 55:26.
On the other hand, the Bible also made it clear that Jesus was a human being as written in John 8:40, Luke 2:21, and Acts 2:22.
And if that is the case, it means Jesus will also die as the Bible says.
That people are destined to die once and after that to face judgement.. (Hebrew 9:27)
Therefore if the above statement is true and accepted by the Christians it means Jesus did not actually resurrected after his alleged death on the cross!
The Muslims actually believed that Jesus will come back to the world and die a natural death like Moses, Abraham, Jacob, Muhammad pbuh and other prophets because he was not successfully killed on the cross as the Christians are claiming as written in the following verses.
Hebrew 5 :7.. Jesus in the days of his life offered prayers and supplications unto him (God) that saves him from death and he was heard “.see also Luke 2:39_46 and Psalm 34:19_20
Therefore, Since Jesus was saved from death by God, it means there is no point of talking about his resurrection in the first place.
Even in the book of Matthew 12:38_40
Jesus himself stated that the event of his crucifixion is going to be a miracle like that of Jonah….. AND HE SAID” AS JONAH WAS THREE DAYS AND THREE NIGHTS IN THE FISH BELLY, SO SHALL THE SON OF MAN BE THREE DAYS AND THREE NIGHTS IN THE HEART OF THE EARTH..
Now the question is..
Was Jonah death or alive in the fish belly?
The Bible says Jonah was alive when he was swallowed and vomited by the fish as mentioned in the book of Jonah 2:1-10 and Jonah 1:15-17
FURTHER MORE :
When the disciples of Jesus Christ saw him after his escape from the cross they were afraid and not willing to welcome him thinking that he was a resurrected person but he convinced them that he was the actual person and not a resurrected person,
Because “A resurrected person does not have flesh and bones as you see me have” .. (Luke 24:36-39
Therefore, Jesus Christ will surely come back to the world and he will die a natural death like every human being.
