One Angel Olaniyiolagun scornfully said Muslims hit their heads on the floor during worship. I replied,
“Angel Olaniyiolagun I hit my head on the floor in the Mosque, you stamp your feet on the ground in church, no issue. On the other hand, I and Moses, Abraham, and Jesus are partners in hitting our heads on the floor for our creator, I guess Satan must be your accomplice as stamping your feet is a sign of doom.
Ezekiel 6:
11 ‘Thus says the Lord God: “Pound your fists and stamp your feet, and say, ‘Alas, for all the evil abominations of the house of Israel! For they shall fall by the sword, by famine, and by pestilence. 11 “This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Clap your hands in horror, and stamp your feet.
Interestingly, there is nowhere Jesus clapped and danced to worship God. I feel proud to ‘hit my head on the ground’ like others in the Bible.
We read,
2 Kings 17:36
But the Lord, who brought you up from the land of Egypt with great power and with an outstretched arm, Him you shall fear, and to Him you shall bow yourselves down, and to Him you shall sacrifice.
Isaiah 66:23
“And it shall be from new moon to new moon
And from sabbath to sabbath,
All mankind will come to bow down before Me,” says the Lord.
Nehemiah 9:6
“You alone are the Lord.
You have made the heavens,
The heaven of heavens with all their host,
The earth and all that is on it,
The seas and all that is in them.
You give life to all of them
And the heavenly host bows down before You.
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego are important Biblical figures because they refused to bow done to Nebuchadnezzer’s idol. They know whose right bowing to worship was.
Satan knows bowing in worship is for God, hence, he tempted Jesus of the Bible with it. Jesus even affirmed that only God is worthy of bowing down to in worship.
Lastly, we wonder, if Muslims really hit their heads on the floor during worship, how are we surviving the everyday concussion?”
