When a Christian preacher claimed through my WhatsApp that Jesus is a son of God and asked me to proof whom his father is. I responded and I feel like sharing with others.

Jesus had no father, he only had a mother and that’s how he’s been mentioned throughout in the Glorious Qur’an – «`Isa (Jesus) the son of Maryam (Mary).»
There are more than enough references for that in the Marvelous Qur’an. Let me give just an instance, check Qur’an 61-6.
More so, check the book of Matthew 26:62-64, it reads:
“Then the high priest stood up and said to Jesus, Are you not going to answer? What is this testimony that these men are bringing against you? But Jesus remained silent. The high priest said to him, I charge you under oath by the living God: Tell us if you are the Messiah, the Son of God. You have said so, *Jesus replied. But I say to all of you: From now on you will see the Son of Man* sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One (God) and coming on the clouds of heaven.”
He claimed to be a son of man, not either God or a son of God while Mary is a man, technically, we only have mankind and not womankind. Grammatically, man means “men and women.” Whenever Allãh addresses human beings generally (i.e., males, females tall and short, etc.) He addresses them as mankind, a typical example is in Qur’an 4 and in several other places in the Noble Qur’an.
Jesus was reported to have claim being a son of man in several verses of the bible, few of them include:
• Matthew 18:11 “For the Son of Man has come to save that which was lost.”
• Luke 19:10 “For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”
• Mark 10:45 “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
In Mark, it was established that even Jesus came to serve (God), and his life as a ransom – by preaching, taking all his time working hard on his people to be guided.
Conclusively, nothing is confusing about the creation of Jesus, he was just a miracle among the miracles of Allãh, Allãh created Adam from sounding clay and breathed into it to become a human, Allãh created his wife from his rib and give life to it to become a human, many other miracles were performed before the advent of Jesus and Allãh, Majestically performed another miracle by creating Jesus through a woman without any intimacy with a man beforehand. Angel Jibril (Gabriel) was sent to Maryam and he breathed into her thereafter, a child was produced.
Allãh says:
“Surely the likeness of `Isa (Jesus) in the Providence of Allãh is as the likeness of Adam. He (Allãh) created him of dust, thereafter He said to him, “Be!” so he is (i.e., he was).” Sûratu Ãli’Imrãn (Qur’an 3:59)
Glory be to the Almighty Allãh, the Lord of the world.
