The continous spread of the Coronavirus has seen to the closure of schools, cinemas, supermarkets, stadia, worship centres and other places where people gather.
In previous publications, we have questioned the authenticity of today’s Christians mode of praise and worship, wondering if it is the way of the biblical Prophets or that, invented out of the whims and desires of those who give no concern to the true mode of worship.

The religion of Islam is a perfected religion. So perfect that Muslims are met with no confusion when dealing with issues pertaining to worship or salvation. In a video reportedly from Kuwait, the Muathin was heard calling to prayer and asking the people to pray from home. Watch video;
Unlike Islam, Christianity has a different way of worship, one far from the teachings of the Bible or the way of the Biblical Prophets. Dancing, singing, jumping, rolling, drumming are what make a Christian’s praise and worship today.
In places where Churches are now locked due to the Coronavirus, many questions arise. How would a Christian worship God from home? Whatever way he chooses, did the Bible mention what to do in a situation where the congregational worship needs to be avoided?
How many Hallelujah will a Christian chant from his house? How good would the praise be without drumming? Will a Christian, alone in the house, start to shout, jump, roll and dance?
Many of these churches are also Miracle and healing centres. For long, people have been decided that the dead are awakened, diseases are cured by Pastors who perform miracles. Unfortunately, a Church that scheduled a Miracle and Healing crusade had to suspend it for fear of the Coronavirus.
Sadly, the Coronavirus is affecting business centres, the church inclusive. With the closure of churches in certain places, we wonder what happens to tithe if those churches have to be locked for a year.
