In the history of man, Judas is the most cheated man. No man’s act, effort and deeds have so much influenced the lives of people, over a billion to say but later used against him as much as Judas. A critical analysis of the bible would bring one to the conclusion that Judas Iscariot is the pioneer of salvation for the Christians. It is he, who would want to deliberately play the Satan, a Satan deliberately chosen by his Master who cannot easily forgive his ‘sons’ except that someone leads him to the cross. An act that would not be celebrated by the people it was done for.

When one studies the gospel and the role played in the alleged crucifixion of Jesus Christ, one would think that Judas day would be celebrated before good Friday or Easter. How can we tell the story of crucifixion without mentioning Judas? The man, Judas, must have developed a psychological problem to have hung himself after dropping the thirty pieces of silver as we read,

“When Judas, his betrayer, saw that he was condemned, he repented and brought back the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and the elders, 4 saying, “I have sinned in betraying innocent blood.” They said, “What is that to us? See to it yourself.” 5 And throwing down the pieces of silver in the temple, he departed; and he went and hanged himself. 6 But the chief priests, taking the pieces of silver, said, “It is not lawful to put them into the treasury, since they are blood money.” 7 So they took counsel, and bought with them the potter’s field, to bury strangers in. 8 Therefore that field has been called the Field of Blood to this day. 9 Then was fulfilled what had been spoken by the prophet Jeremiah, saying, “And they took the thirty pieces of silver, the price of him on whom a price had been set by some of the sons of Israel, 10 and they gave them for the potter’s field, as the Lord directed me.” RSV Matt 27:3-10

Great was his sorrow that after dropping the thirty pieces of silver and hanging himself, he went to buy a land with the same thirty pieces of silver after hanging himself then died another death as we read,

” In those days Peter stood up among the brethren (the company of persons was in all about a hundred and twenty), and said, 16 “Brethren, the scripture had to be fulfilled, which the Holy Spirit spoke beforehand by the mouth of David, concerning Judas who was guide to those who arrested Jesus. 17 For he was numbered among us, and was allotted his share in this ministry. 18 (Now this man bought a field with the reward of his wickedness; and falling headlong he burst open in the middle and all his bowels gushed out. 19 And it became known to all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so that the field was called in their language Akel’dama, that is, Field of Blood.) 20 For it is written in the book of Psalms, `Let his habitation become desolate, and let there be no one to live in it’; and `His office let another take.’ RSV Acts 1:15-20

The way Christians celebrate people wrongly is amazing. Melchizedek who had no father, no mother, no son or genealogy is given very little or no regard by Christians. Many Christians do not even know who Melchizedek was. If we do not take the role Judas played in the alleged crucifixion into cognizance, what do we say to dropping a money, hanging himself then buying a land with with the money and dying another death afterwards. what an awesome God!

Now, Christians name their children, Matthew, John, Mark etc but not Judas! The same way Jesus is called lord and Personal Saviour without any verse to prove it but humanity, at a time, depending on the righteousness of Noah is not celebrated. If Judas who led to the salvation of Christians is not celebrated but the likes of Paul of Tarsus are, should we be surprised that the role is not as important as that of Jesus to Christians. Without a Judas, what crucifixion and blood atonement would Paul preach and without humanity being hung on the righteousness of Noah, who would Jesus come to die for?

Jesus himself proved that the plot to kill him was satanic. How?? Jesus said in John 6:71..

70 Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil?

71 He spake of Judas Iscariot the son of Simon: for he it was that should betray him, being one of the twelve.

How can a creation betray his creator?!!!

In My book,”Truth for the Truth Seekers”, I wrote,

“No one has done Christians much good as Judas. If there was no Judas, Jesus would not be arrested, if not arrested, he would not be crucified, if not crucified, Christians would not have salvation (in their illusion), why then do Christians not name their children Judas?
