LIKE THE ALARM WILL SHAKE YOUR GRAVE By Azeezah Olatunde (PenTalks)
My greatest fear that makes me
Tremble in dread is being Alone.
When the 4 walls of my heart is trapped in
The castle of billion people with dead breath.
Did I say dead?
Yes! We were once dead and
Woken up from our deadly slumber.
Like the alarm will shake your grave
Once the sun kiss the unsual east.
The day I won’t run to Mama and Papa
To help shun the sun from licking
My scalp and melting it like the
Tales of the blacksmith and it’s gold.
The deeds done in the darkest thread
Of night will be unveiled with the brightest sun.
Then suddenly account becomes my worst course
As an atom of action will be accounted for.
Then you shall see the successful ones
As their feet match to Al Jannah.
Woe to he that receive it on his left
For they will be blessed with chastisement.
