One may wonder what, from the New Testament, separates these two groups by
such a vast expanse of understanding. Trinitarians, Unitarians and Muslims all claim to
follow the teachings of Jesus. But who really does, and who doesn’t?
For centuries the argument has been advanced that Trinitarians follow Pauline
theology in preference to that of Jesus. This charge is difficult to deny, for Jesus taught
Old Testament Law whereas Paul negated it. Jesus preached orthodox Jewish creed; Paul
preached mysteries of faith. Jesus spoke of accountability; Paul proposed justification by
faith. Jesus described himself as an ethnic prophet; Paul defined him as a universal
prophet.*
In disrespect to thousands of years of revelation conveyed through a long chain
of esteemed prophets, and contrary to the teachings of Rabbi Jesus, Paul focused not on
the life and teachings of Jesus, but upon his death. As Lehmann writes, “The only thing
which Paul considers important is the Jew Jesus’ death, which destroyed all hopes of
liberation by a Messiah. He makes the victorious Christ out of the failed Jewish Messiah,
the living out of the dead, the son of God out of the son of man.”119
More than a few scholars consider Paul the main corrupter of Apostolic
Christianity and the teachings of Jesus, and they are not alone. Many early Christian sects
also held this view, including the secondcentury Christian sect known as Adoptionists.
According to Bart D. Ehrman, “In particular, [the Adoptionists] considered Paul, one of the most prominent authors of our New Testament, to be an archheretic rather than an
apostle.”
120
Johannes Lehmann writes, “What Paul proclaimed as ‘Christianity’ was sheer
heresy which could not be based on the Jewish or Essene faith, or on the teaching of
Rabbi Jesus. But, as Schonfield says, ‘The Pauline heresy became the foundation of
Christian orthodoxy and the legitimate church was disowned as heretical.’” 121
He continues, “Paul did something that Rabbi Jesus never did and refused to do.
He extended God’s promise of salvation to the Gentiles; he abolished the law of Moses,
and he prevented direct access to God by introducing an intermediary.”122
Bart D. Ehrman, author of The New Testment: A Historical Introduction to
the Early Christian Writings and perhaps the most authoritative contemporary
voice reminds us that “Paul’s view was not universally accepted or, one might
argue, even widely accepted,” and that there were prominent Christian leaders,
including Jesus’ closest disciple, Peter, “who vehemently disagreed with him on
this score and considered Paul’s views to be a corruption of the true message of
Christ.”
123
Commenting on the views of some early Christians in the Pseudo
Clementine literature, Ehrman writes, “Peter, not Paul, is the true authority for
understanding the message of Jesus. Paul has corrupted the true faith based on a
brief vision, which he has doubtless misconstrued. Paul is thus the enemy of the apostles, not the chief of them. He is outside the true faith, a heretic to be banned,
not an apostle to be followed.

Whoever obeys the Scholars and the Rulers, forbidding what Allah has made permissible and permitting what He has
made forbidden, has certainly taken them as Lords (besides Allah)

Ibn Abbas (May Allah be pleased with him) said: “(It may be that) Stones are soon to descend upon you from the heavens! I say to you: ‘Allah’s Messenger (May the peace and blessing of Allah be upon him) said…’ and you say to me: ‘Abu Bakr and Umar said!?” Ahmad bin Hanbal (May Allah be pleased with him) said: I am astonished at a people who know the chain of transmission (of a Hadith) and its
authenticity but nevertheless follow the opinion of Sufyan (Ath-Thauri) while Allah the Most High says: “Let those who oppose his (the Messenger’s) commandment (orders, statements, etc.) beware, lest some Fitnah (disbelief, affliction) befall them or a painful torment be inflicted on them.” (24:63)

Do you know what the Fitnah is? Al-Fitnah is Shirk. May be the rejection of some of his words would cause one to have doubt and deviation in his heart and thereby be destroyed.

It is narrated from Adi bin Hatim (May Allah be pleased with him) : I heard the Prophet (May the peace and blessing of Allah be upon him) read this verse: “They
(Jews and Christians) took their rabbis and their monks to be their lords besides Allah, and Messiah -son of Maryam, while they were commanded to worship none but One Ilah (God Allah) La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He). Praise and glory be to Him, (far above is He) from having the partners they associate (with Him)”. (9:31)

So I said to him (May Allah be pleased with him)’ “Verily, we did not worship them,” to which he replied, “Did they not make Haram what Allah made Halal so you then made it Haram, and (did they not) make Halal what Allah made Haram and you therefore made it Halal?” I said, “Yes.” He said, “That is worshipping them.”
[Reported by Ahmad and At- Tirmidhi who graded it as Hasan (fair).]

Important issues of the Chapter

1) Explanation of the verse in Surat An-Nur (24:63).

2) Explanation of the verse in Surat Al-Bara’ah (or At-Taubah) (9:31).

3) Pointing out the meaning of worship that was initially denied by Adi (May Allah be pleased with him)

4) The example given, of Abu Bakr and Umar, by Ibn Abbas; and Ahmad’s example of Sufyan.

5) Conditions have changed to the point that the worship of monks has become the best of deeds under the name of A/-Wi/ayah (sainthood), while the worship of learned men in religion is considered knowledge and understanding. Thereafter, conditions changed to the point that
those worshipped besides Allah were not even righteous, and those were also worshipped who were absolutely.

Saudi Prince Mansour bin Muqrin Dies In Helicopter Crash

0

A high-ranking Prince in Saudi Arabia, Prince Mansour bin Muqrin has been killed in a helicopter crash near the kingdom’s southern border with Yemen.

Prince Mansour bin Muqrin

Sky News reports that Prince Bin Muqrin, the son of the former crown prince and deputy governor of Saudi Arabia’s Asir province, Muqrin bin Abdulaziz was travelling with several officials to visit a number of development projects near the coast in Asir when the aircraft crashed.

The cause of the crash is however still unknown. However, Videos posted on Twitter hours before the crash showed him carrying out an inspection of defence and environmental projects.

The crash is coming a day after Saudi Arabia intercepted and destroyed a ballistic missile near Riyadh’s international airport. The missile was believed to have been fired by Houthi rebels from Yemen.

The missile launch was the first aimed by the Shi’ite rebels at the heart of the Saudi capital, underscoring the growing threat posed by the conflict in Yemen.

Prince Mansour’s father Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz was a former director-general of the Saudi Intelligence Agency and a one-time crown prince of the kingdom.

Prince Muqrin was removed as crown prince in April 2015 by 81-year-old King Salman. The crown prince now is King Salman’s 32-year-old son, Mohammed bin Salman.

SPOKEN WORDS

0

TERROR IS HIM..(spoken word)

These tears have been dripping down my eyes for way too long
when will there be a chance to write a new poem
About joy and peace in the land
for the pain and agony is so sad
when will Bashar Al asad free the Syrian people?
when will tranquil and love rain in the city of Allepo?
when will Russia’s Putin
quit putting missiles and deadly drones on another man’s land?
when will matricide and infanticide stop in Palestine, Syria and other countries that the West and the so called world powers hold on target
for their selfish political budget while
hiding behind the guise and lies of fighting terrorism

But we all know who the real terrorist is;
Terror is him who kills millions of civilians especially children and women while dining with the real enemy
terror is him who failed to lead his people appropriately and would rather seek for help from the enemy to slit the throat of the innocent.
Terror is him who kills his fellow man for no justifiable reason
Terror is him who hungers for power and serves materialism than humanity
Terror is him who calls another a terrorist because of his religion
Terror is him who wages war for no just cause instead of settling for peace and unity,
Love and humanity because that’s what the world needs

Not the fallacies the mass media and social networks
Keep feeding into our minds and ears.
Do your research and know the truth
That lies behind the illusion and confusion you see on TV.
And stop wallowing and sinking, basking and drinking in the sea of arrogance and especially ignorance
Because it is a very terrible disease.
Wake up to the truth before reality slaps you on the face…
And when you see people committing illicit crimes in the name of Islam,
Don’t blame Islam but blame the culprit
Who failed to understand the true teachings of Islam which is love, care, honesty and most especially salaam(PEACE).

For this religion is perfect but we on the other hand are humans and incomplete
And we make mistakes and take drastic decisions before we even think.
Study the religion carefully and see for yourselves
Know the true meaning of Islam from her right source
which are the glorious Quran and Hadith,
And see the reason why She is so perfect and flawless
And would never settle for less.
Regardless of the false things they say or do to tarnish her image
She still remain FLAWLESS and STAINLESS
She is an epitome of true beauty and inner tranquility
That Allaah (God) has bestowed to the entirety of humanity.

And these tears fall from my eyes for way too long
when can we write a new poem
About peace and tranquility
For we want peace in Syria, Palestine ,Burma, Pakistan, Iraq, and all across the world.

quit shedding the blood of your brothers and sisters
for every life truly matters…

WASTAGE

0

WASTAGE

About twelve cows slaughtered; hundreds of dozens of chairs rented; reigning, costly musicians patronised; several baskets of peppers and tomatoes exhausted, different varieties of delicacies consumed; innumerable crates of soft drinks drunk; numberless loads of liquor lavished; incalculable penny splurged on logistics – all in the name of ceremoniously burying their father – a befitting burial they would say – a rough estimate of which was capable of eternally enriching unemployed youths, if such money is gainfully utilised. What is wrong with us?

Weeks after, the one-day spender of millions became sunk in debts and shattered by shame. He dodged, avoided and ran from his supposed friendly creditors from whose purses loans smilingly came out for the ‘befitting burial’. Though he realised certain amounts while dancing on stage, but his expenditure hugely outweighed his income. Should he be pitied or beaten?

They didn’t want to be disgraced. They detested being embarrassed. Their friends now their foes. Friends who did not see reasons helping them grow their careers into stardom and/or businesses into riches, but could loan them to squander millions on burials. Friends who are friendly with their wealth only when there is a call for socials, not for successes. Friends in partying, not in parleying. What is wrong with us?

I stand challenged. I have never read or heard anyone adduce a rational rationale for the so-called burial ceremonies that make people cough out that which they should forever have swallowed. You may wish to do a rejoinder. I am receptive of criticism. I don’t have to be chronically religious to know that such spending is waste. It is axiomatic. It is glaring. A notable politician once had his mother claimed by death. He told his friends that he would frugally expend a token of #5m for her burial ceremony unlike those who squander resources. What an ‘award-deserving’ frugality, indeed! Isn’t that brutality of commonsense?

#5m is enough an amount to turn the lives of 5 entrepreneurially skilled youths around. With each of them being afforded #1m, the capitals can metamorphous into multiples and several other youths employed. While there were copious Nigerian youths wallowing in starvation birthed by unemployment, some imprudent, loose politician was splurging our common wealth on the no-return demise of his mother. What is wrong with us?

Islamic laws on burial do not include spending by the bereaved. It is rather on the other way round – spending on the bereaved. The sons and daughters of the deceased should be the receivers of gifts borne out of sympathy for the lost soul. Why lose a soul and waste away resources alongside? What is wrong with us? The culture should rather be that while each mourner visits, eatable, usable items should be empathetically given to the deceased.

That muslim clerics gather on the eighth day in the name of prayer for the deceased is no fact to adduce partying. There is no such thing in Islam. It is rather a means devised by them to get some cash into their pockets. Such is never attributable to either the holy Prophet or the pious companions. And it is even shameful that those who are supposed to be truth defenders on this matter are the ones upholding the falsehood. Is it revering to hear sheikhs, imams, alfas financially exploit children and family members of the deceased, all in the name of prayer? From whom did they get such an alien practice? One of the alleged culprits should probably educate us in the light of Sharee’ah. Learning is a continuum, you know.

It is on record that the deceased should have charity, not party, done in his name by the children. Members of the deceased’s family may convert the money for partying to any, some or all of the following:
Providing foods, clothes and shelter for orphans. If you have none, I do have some begging for good future. We just recommended one for a philanthropist.

Providing water for thirsty people i.e. digging a borehole for a community.
Sponsoring indigent but brilliant students for WAEC and/or NECO and JAMB. There are many promising students whose parents cannot afford the examination fees.

Grading and/or patching of roads to ease vehicular movements.
Settling of patients’ bills in selected hospitals. Imagine your #2m being spent to clear medical bills of about 50 or more people in the name of your dead parent(s).
Building, renovating or resuscitating a mosque.

In other words, from the church’s point of view the problem is that educated laity
are beginning to trust scripture more than the imaginative minds and nonbiblical sources
from which the church derived its dogma. We can understand their concern. After all, it’s
much easier to tell people what to believe (and how much to tithe) than to have to deal
with the problematic issues that result from objective analysis. Issues like, like, like …
well, like these.
In any case, as if the above quote were not enough, the NCE continues:
The formulation “one God in three Persons” was not solidly
established, certainly not fully assimilated into Christian life and its
profession of faith, prior to the end of the 4 th century. But it is precisely
this formulation that has first claim to the title the Trinitarian dogma.
Among the Apostolic Fathers, there had been nothing even
remotely approaching such a mentality or perspective.”117
Okay, let’s all sit back, scratch our heads and say a collective “Hunh?”
The church admits that the Trinity was unknown to the Apostolic Fathers
*
, and
the doctrine was derived from nonbiblical sources, but insists we believe it anyway? No
wonder it took so long to catch on.
Once approved by the church councils, another several centuries passed before
this foreign concept gained acceptance. The New Catholic Encyclopedia observes that devotion to the Trinity wasn’t realized until the eighth century, at which time it began to
take hold in monasteries at Aniane and Tours. 118
In the midst of the growing awareness of the differences between Trinitarian
doctrine and the period of origins, one might be surprised to find one group claiming to
be followers of Jesus Christ (i.e., Muslims!) reading the following in their book of
guidance (i.e., the Holy Qur’an):
O People of the Book! Commit no excesses in your religion: nor
say of Allah anything but the truth. Christ Jesus the son of Mary was (no
more than) a Messenger of Allah, and His Word, which He bestowed on
Mary, and a Spirit proceeding from Him: so believe in Allah and His
Messengers. Do not say “Trinity”: desist: it will be better for you: for
Allah is One God: glory be to Him: (far Exalted is He) above having a
son. To Him belong all things in the heavens and on earth. And enough is
Allah as a Disposer of affairs (TMQ 4:171).
And warning:
O People of the Book! Exceed not in your religion the bounds (of
what is proper), trespassing beyond the truth, nor follow the vain desires
of people who went wrong in times gone by—who misled many, and
strayed (themselves) from the even Way (TMQ 5:77).

It is of Shirk to perform a (righteous) deed for worldly reasons

Allah the Most Exalted said: “Whosoever desires the life of the world and its glitter; to them we shall pay in full (the wages of) their deeds therein and they will have no diminution therein. They are those for whom there is nothing in the Hereafter but the Fire; and vain are the deeds they did therein. And of no effect is that which they used to do.” (11: 15,16)

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (May the peace and blessing of Allah be upon him) said: “Let the slave of Dinar and Dirham, and Khamisa (i.e. money and luxurious clothes) perish as he is pleased if these things are given to him, and if not, he is displeased. Let such a person perish and relapse, and if he is pierced with a thorn, let him not find anyone to take it out for him. Tuba (all kinds of happiness, or a tree in Paradise) is for him who holds the reins of his horse to strive in Allah’s Cause, with his hair unkempt and feet covered with dust: if he is appointed in the vanguard, he is perfectly satisfied with his post of guarding, and if he is appointed in the
rearguard, he accepts his post with satisfaction; (he is so simple and unambitious that) if he asks for permission (before a ruler) he is not permitted, and if he intercedes, his intercession is not accepted (because of his simplicity).”

Important issues of the Chapter

1) Man’s desire for the worldly gains on the pretext of the acting for the Hereafter.

2) Explanation of the verses in Surah Hud (11:15,16).

3) Naming the Muslim the slave of Dinar and Dirham and Khamisa (i.e. money and luxurious clothes).

4) The explanation of that by the fact that “he is pleased if these things are given to him, and if not, he is displeased.”

5) Meaning of the words: “Let such a person perish and relapse.” (Ta’isa, Intakasa).

6) Meaning of the words: “and if he is pierced with a thorn, let him not find anyone to take it out for him.”

7) The praise upon the Mujahid who can be attributed with the characterization (in the Hadith).
