FERRARI HORSE

0

الصافنات الجياد

By Ashraf Akintola

I guess you are busy right now, but to save time, let me cut to the chase.

Sulyman عليه السلام, a king, a prophet and the son of a prophet is described by Allah as- “……An excellent servant and was frequent in returning to Allah.
(Suratu Sad, Verse 30)

As described in the next verses of the same surah, he has a vast collection of horses

(some scholars say they are up to 20,000 horses)

that “…. are still when standing and swift when running.” You can call them the Ferraris, the Bugattis of this age.

From the explanations made by scholars of Tafsir, these are not just meant for liesure or to pass over time, they are vehicles, that Sulyman عليه السلام uses on the path of Allah.

So, the story continues.

As dutiful a king as he was, he never lets any work pass under him unexamined. Works so little as stroking the horses necks and checking their foot (People who rear horses would have a better understanding of this regarding horses care).

He was on this until he forgot the time for Asr (which is the prayer he was assigned to pray. Each prophet has his own. Even the prophet did not begin with five. It used to be two- morning and evening glorifying Allah until Isra’i wal mi’raj) has passed by.

He was distraught by this and lamented thus:

فَقَالَ إِنِّي أَحْبَبْتُ حُبَّ الْخَيْرِ عَن ذِكْرِ رَبِّي حَتَّىٰ تَوَارَتْ بِالْحِجَابِ

Then he said: Surely I preferred the good things to the remembrance of my Lord– until the sun set and time for Asr prayer was over, (he said):

(Suratu Sad, Verse 32)

As a prophet described as “……An excellent servant and was frequent in returning to Allah, he summoned back all the horses that took away his attention from the main purpose of his creation, cut off all their necks and legs (remember their humunguous number), offered them all as a sacrifice to Allah and sought repentance from Allah.

From this incident, he was tested and after acing the test, he said:

قَالَ رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَهَبْ لِي مُلْكًا لَّا يَنبَغِي لِأَحَدٍ مِّن بَعْدِي إِنَّكَ أَنتَ الْوَهَّابُ

He said: My Lord! do Thou forgive me and grant me a kingdom which is not fit for (being inherited by) anyone after me;

And here was Allah’s reply:

فَسَخَّرْنَا لَهُ الرِّيحَ تَجْرِي بِأَمْرِهِ رُخَاءً حَيْثُ أَصَابَ

Then We made the wind subservient to him; it made his command to run gently wherever he desired,

Suratu Sad, Verse 36

So, don’t go yet, here is the gist.

1. What are those glittering things of life that kept decieving you and stopping you from the rememberance of Allah? At first it is Allah that gave them all to you and he can decide to take them all away even within the twinkling of an eye. Bro, cut off everything that is taking you away from the rememberance of your lord. He owns you and the thing you run after.

2. Seek repentance to Allah everytime. That should be the oxygen with which you breathe. And the first stage of repentance is regret. Regret your sinful past and vow not to go back again. Keep this act of repentance going as long as you are alive. For surely Allah is oft forgiving, ever merciful.

Sulyman عليه السلام ran back to Allah and used that opportunity to ask for favours so big he doesn’t know the extent of its reaches. Ask for your own customized blessing, don’t envy others. Allah can do it. He surely can.

3. Don’t try to think your configuration of thinking is the scope with which the might of Allah operates. You saw what Sulyman was distracted about-horses! And what they are meant for – jihad! And you saw how he returned back to Allah – sincere and confirmed! And you saw what he asked. See how Allah answered him. *He gave him the wind* amidst other things. With the command of the wind, he goes anywhere he wants. How can even our Ferrari compare to that not to talk of horses of old.

Think about these and make a conclusion yourself.

Till another time,

Ashraf’s Scribbles would keep using words to change the world.

OUR LAST BREATHE

0

OUR LAST BREATHE

In and out it goes, with
its every actions drawing
us closer to reality.

Look how we work so hard,
sometimes forgetting about
the certainty.

What are we chasing for,
when we don’t need more.

Oh! When will it be?
Our last breathe that holds
much more than just the air.

For it takes away our
love for the world,
leading us into the darkness
of the underworld.

It makes our mind the slave
of itself, as it flashes
back to the very beginning
of its existence.

To the Man with ears that listen
and eyes that see, use
every breathe like it’s
your last.

ADVERTISEMENT OR SEXUAL ENTICEMENT?

0

…So, a female classmate posted her pictures with an apparel revealing her cleavages . I would have just tapped and ignored, but she claimed to have posted it for advertisement for her elder sister who circumspectly and proficiently made the gown. The lower part of the cloth was so baggy and not tight at all. But the part of the cloth that often rest on the collar bone was lowered to the arm level. Whether it was purposely done for the advertisement or not; that, I cannot say, but for what tangible reason should that have been done?

I deliberately asked again, ‘what are you advertising’? She replied, ‘The Clothe’. I asked again ‘the clothe or the chest’? She got furious and told me that she knew where I was driving at and she didn’t appreciate someone tampering with her ‘decency’. I would have foregone it at that moment, but she ruined the whole matter saying “those wearing big hijab (perhaps, jilbaab and khimar inclusive), do you know what they wear underneath?” I was smiling because had it been she knew she was refuting herself, she wouldn’t have said that confidently. Moreover, didn’t she just say “underneath”?

You heard me say she refuted herself? Yes, she did! How? The fact that what the hijabites wear doesn’t reveal what they have underneath is the beauty behind the wisdom of Hijab, and also the actual definition of hijab. Linguistically, hijab means a barrier; a wall between two things i.e. female awrah and public gaze. It shows that no man on the street can just glance or stare at the sacred part (all parts of the body with hands and face, having difference of opinions among scholars) of her body anyhow. It shows the prestige she has conferred on herself by not making her body available for public glance and sight.

Facing the reality, we are now in a world where females are mostly conceived to be the only ones who can fetch huge money for a product through advertisement. Who have made us dump? Pornography of sight is prevalent almost everywhere in the world. Sex sells. We live in a hypersexual era. Like the occurrence I narrated; I would have asked if the advertisement could not be done without exposing the bosom.

Something attractive is indisputably used for advertisement. The producers show the advantage of using the product in the advertisement. The producers will advertise with a style that correlates with the public perspective of reasoning. That means, it has been envisaged that public will only go for something immoral and vicious to our mental and psychological wellbeing. The commercial world has been made to believe in promotion of nudity before increment of profits.

So, the above fashion designer would have believed that her products would not have attracted customers, and fetch money if the chest or any delicate part of the body was not exposed and advertised. She would have reasoned that many ladies of today cherish show-me-your-front attire. That a husband will love to buy her wife a dress that attracts male sexual consciousness and, to boast to his friends that he has got a sexy and hot wife. Idiocy or absurdity?

This drives us to the reasons for wearing Hijab; the wisdom behind it.
‘Hijab is a form of oppression’, they say. Yes, they are right! An oppression to those who are fond of sight pornography, to those who have seen women as objects of sexual gratification only. A responsible Muslimah must wear hijab to bar and oppress lustful mind that instigate males to unlawful sexual desires. A female appearance sprouts male perspective of seeing her. Hijab is not a barricade to achieving women worldly goals and careers.

Hijab as a form of worship: any prayer without covering the sacred part of the body is invalid. Imagine praying five times daily, tahajjud, nawaafil and only to find that one’s good deeds have been leaking away on the day of recompense. Hijab is a commandment made by Allah. Punishment for disobeying the most High is not something we are oblivious of. Imagine you receiving rewards for preventing males from committing sin out of seeing your nudity. Imagine receiving rewards for obeying your Creator.

Hijab as a form of freedom: A hijabi feels free from all kind of sexual molestations and gazes. She is free to sit normally in public unlike someone with skimpy skirts. She is free to bend down and pick anything that falls from her without minding who is looking. The power of modesty makes one feel stronger. Lustful approach is another thing a hijabi is free from because she is not seen as someone ready to sell herself cheap. If she was ready for that, she would have exhibited it for mass attraction.

Hijab as a code of conduct: Before I proceed; I will like to highlights some criteria for proper hijab then we observe the wisdom and beauty that lies in them. They are:

1. Length (extent); that it must cover all parts of the body except the face and hand. Even though, some scholars agreed these parts must be covered too.

2. The clothes worn must be loose and must not reveal the figure.

3. The clothes worn must not be transparent such that one can see through them.

4. The clothes worn must not be so glamorous as to attract the opposite sex.

5. The clothes worn must not resemble that of the opposite sex.

6. The clothes worn must not resemble that of the unbelievers i.e. they should not wear clothes that are specifically identities or symbols of the unbelievers’ religions.

Fulfilling the above criteria hijab also includes the moral conduct, behavior, attitude and intention of the individual. A person only fulfilling the criteria of ‘hijab’ of the clothes is observing ‘hijab’ in a limited sense. ‘Hijab’ of the clothes should be accompanied by ‘hijab’ of the eyes, ‘hijab’ of the heart, ‘hijab’ of thought and ‘hijab’ of intention. It also includes the way a person walks, the way a person talks, the way she behaves, etc.

Hijab as a form of upliftment: Western society has claimed to have uplifted the status of women. They claimed to have bestowed women with liberation. On the contrary, the supposed ’liberation’ is just a camouflaged form of exploitation of their (women) bodies, degradation of their souls, and deprivation of their honors. Islam has established and restore the honor or women 14 centuries ago given the Arabia, Roman, Greek and Babylonian forms of women treatment. These were eras when women were regarded as the object of lust, sign of evil and bad luck. Now, western society is keen on snatching the honor and uplift that Islam has bequeathed women so as to restore them back to those ignorance and sinful period in exchange for their own sexual satisfaction. Which era would a responsible woman want to live with; era of sexual gratification or of honor?

Hijab as a form of crime extinguisher: Imagine a society where all women observe full hijab, where men too, observe the hijab of lowering their gazes, what effect will it have on the society? Reduction of crime, if not eradication! A society where a man feels remorseful of committing sind upon seeing the female nakedness, a society where women do not make their nakedness available for men to stare at. We will record lesser rate of crime. These are the minor things that prompt people to pornographic addiction. Someone who sees a woman’s nudity will want to see more of it and this triggers people to Zina (fornication and adultery). May Allah save us from such trials. Aameen.

Hijab as a solution to social vices: My dear sisters, would you like these daily social vices like porn, rape, etc to continue trending in our societies?. How about helping some brothers from committing sin out of sighting your nakedness. Men are not the only victims of these indecency; women too. A reason why lesbianism exists, and still prevailing among the youths. This is the extent at which the atrocities borne has gone in the society. How about earning more rewards by preventing some from sins.

… And Allah says

“O Prophet! Tell thy wives and daughters, and the believing women that they should cast their outer garments over their persons (when abroad); that is most convenient, that they should be known (as such) and not molested. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.” [Al-Qur’an 33:59]

And say to the believing women that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty; that they should not display their beauty and ornaments except what (must ordinarily) appear thereof; that they should draw veils over their bosoms and not display their beauty except to their husbands, their fathers, their husbands’ fathers, their sons…” [Al-Qur’an 24:31].

Daily Ahadith: Sweetness of Faith

0

‏‏.‏
Narrated Anas: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “Whoever possesses the following three qualities will taste the sweetness of faith;

1. The one to whom Allah and His Apostle become dearer than anything else.
2. Who loves a person and he loves him only for Allah’s sake.
3. Who hates to revert to disbelief after Allah has brought (saved) him out from it, as he hates to be thrown in fire.”

MARRIAGE AT SCHOOL BY SANNI KAY YUSUF

0

Less than a session she got admission into the university, she went home with a man and had him presented as the one she would love to be conjugally glued to. The mother was utterly disappointed that her daughter could have such occupy her mind at such a tender age and at the start of her academic pursuit. “Why not after your education?” she probed.

The young lady seemed to have been mesmerically captured by the love trap set by her heart-man. So she wasn’t giving to her mum’s opposing view. While the highly concerned mother dissuaded her daughter against the move, the very-passionate daughter persuaded her mother for the march. To the mother, it was too early. To the daughter, graduating before marriage was too far.

The confused woman could not but seek ‘redress’ with her imam. She asked of him to help talk sense into the lady. She cried out loud so the imam would have a feel of how embittered she was.

Imam: How old is your daughter, ma?

Mother: 20, sir.

Imam: Is your daughter known with promiscuity?

Mother: Nooooo!

Imam: Does she have boyfriends?

Mother: No. She would have told me if she had one. I trust her.

Imam: Have you any assurances that her nikaah will only blossom if she waits till after school?

Mother: No.

Imam: Do you have an idea about the state of your daughter’s hymen? I mean do you know if she is a virgin or not?

Mother: She is, to the best of my knowledge. She is a moralistic girl, imam.

Imam: OK. Good. Which would you prefer: pregnancy before graduation, or nikaah before graduation?

Mother: Imam, I just preferred she graduated before marriage, sir. I think that’s better. By then she would have had a job of her own, and she would not be dependent on her husband.

Imam: I see. You just have to choose one. If you refuse her getting married now and she ends up losing her virginity or becoming impregnated, you will be held accountable. And by then you may be forced to beg for the acceptance of the pregnancy. That will be a shame on you and us. Apart from the lady being a Muslim, she is a jilbabite like you.

Mother: But imam…

Imam: But what? What you should rather be talking about is who the man is. How good, responsible and capable he is. You should be talking about finding out his background, his relationship with family and friends. And most significantly, we should be talking about how religious and righteous he is. You need to do away with the mentality that she must complete her varsity before nikaah. Many have done it, and they aren’t regretting it. I am a living example.

Mother: Allaahu akbar!Thank you for this beautiful admonition, sir. Do you know that the man is married with children? My daughter wants to be a second wife when bachelors are out there in abundance. I don’t know what’s wrong with her.

Imam: And what gave you the impression that things would be fine if married to a single man?

Mother: Haa, imam!

Imam: See, woman! You are not doing what a good Muslim woman should do as regards this matter. Let Allah choose for your daughter, not you. Look, if she ends up marrying a wrong person, she may curse you later in life. Why don’t you go down in prayer before Allah for proper guidance.

Mother: Haaaaaaa, imam!

Imam: Is the man in question financially OK?

Mother: With the way I see him, he is rich.

Imam: His religion and attitude n ko?

Mother: Those I don’t know for now.

Imam: Madam, go make your findings about him and get back to me. This is what you should rather be doing. Carry out a thorough finding on him: his person, his religious dedication, his temperament, and all you feel are needed to know.

Mother: OK, sir. I will do as directed.

Imam: May Allah see you through.

Parents should realize that destinies are known to no one. What they feel is good for their children may be bad for them, and that which they think is bad may be the best for them. Rather than conclude hastily over an endeavour regarding the future of their children, they should kindly invoke Allah for guidance.

When a woman who allegedly gave birth to a Bible reverted to Islam

0

THIS ARTICLE WAS FIRST PUBLISHED ON DECEMBER 5, 2015

It was just last week, Friday 27th of November precisely that Brother Lawal Abiodun Fatai put a call to me informing him of a live radio Programme on Harmony Fm, Ilorin where the presenter was narrating the story of a woman that gave birth to “a Bible” at Ila-Orangun, Osun State.

Interestingly, there was room for the listeners to phone-in and contribute.
Perhaps, the programme was targeted at brainwashing the ordinary minds. This is what they call “Iriri Aye” meaning, strange but true-life story.

Well, as a journalist, I know too much of what those who venture into the field of stuff like that try to do. They are out there looking for such mysterious stories to report and gain the heart of the audience which may eventually give room for more advert and increase in money.

But on this occasion, I was very lucky to be among the callers, and guess what? I spoilt the market.

I simply asked the presenter to tell the public: Which version of the Bible was given birth to?

73 Chapters of the Catholics
66 Chapters of the Protestants>
And in fact, which version?

NLT> NWT> KJV> QJV> ELT> NIV> RSV>??

And all these questions were becoming too much for the presenter, Mr. Komolafe Adejunwan to comprehend, so he said to me, go to Ila yourself and confirm. But don’t blame him; the man is only doing his job though as he has no idea about all these technical questions posed by me.

Yes, Alhamdulillah, this was what actually motivated us to storm Ila-Orangun on Friday 4th of December, 2015 and this was how it all went:

We got there and she narrated the story, and we took her up from the said Bible itself.

This is how it all went from the horse’s mouth, Mrs. Babalola Khadijah:

“At about seven days that I have been experiencing Child labour, I was worried that it’s about time I deliver of the baby, but instead I began to experience some bleeding.

At day eight, it became tenser that if you were opportune to see me, you would feel that I was gonna die, so a friend of mine came and advised me to visit the hospital where she supposed I had booked for antenatal, but I told her I couldn’t do that because I was financially incapable.

This friend of mine now invited a nurse close to my house to come and assist me, and when she came, she put up some test to know what exactly the problem is. So she gave me an injection to enhance the coming out of the baby and we waited for a while, but nothing happened.

Later, I went to take my shower, and it was inside the bathroom that I began to experience labour pain, and I was compelled to leave the bathroom immediately.

But before I could get to my room, I noticed something fell down off my private part and I shouted at the nurse for help.

So she came to help me inside, and I had to relax. But I was relieved and then asked the nurse, ‘what was that thing that fell off my private part?’ and the nurse replied that from her look, it seems like it is a Bible.

Eneye Ahmad Jamiu Emma trembled at her response, ‘what’! Bible? How? And she said well, it is a Bible. So she brought it to me and we saw it.

I couldn’t believe it if not for bloodstain around the nylon it was rapped.
So I was still very much worried and I told the nurse to test me again if there is still a sign for me to deliver a baby and not Bible.

Thereafter, we went to my Church to tell the ‘Iya Adua’ that this is what happened. And the pastor known as “Iya-Ijor was dancing. So I was angry at her reactions, and I told her that why dancing? I gave birth to a Bible instead of a baby and you are here dancing?

So I walked out of her and return home. Immediately I got home, I began to experience pains again, and after all efforts by the nurse to help me deliver a baby, all proved abortive.

And there was a suggestion that we should pray, perhaps recite psalms from the Bible and drink.
Not too long, I finally delivered a baby girl. That was how it all happened sir”
Words of Mrs. Babalola who was said to have given birth to a Bible at Ila-Orangun.

Now, we requested to see the Bible and she brought it out.
Hmmm. Dear respected Ummah whom Allah has given complete brain, my first interest was to see whether this Bible was different from the ones I have been seeing over the years.

Perhaps, I was expecting to see it being named by Jesus or God or something like “God’s own miracle Bible or Heaven-given Bible or Jesus approved Bible or Miracle from above Bible. But no! Instead, when myself and Ahi Eneye opened the Bible, it was written in Yoruba Language and it contained the same books we have been seeing over the years.

Books like Genesisi, Eksodu, Lefitiku, Numeri, Deuteronomi, Josua, Awon Onidajo, Ruut, Samueli {kini}, Samueli {Keji}, and all the letter of Paul.
Allahu Akbar!!!

At this juncture, we cannot conclude whether or not it’s true or false as were not there with her when it happened…

But you know what>?
How do you know facts?
How do you fish out lies, fabrications from truth?
Here is just one of those red lights to show whether or not it is true or not:
The Bible was written in Yoruba and was printed as thus:

“The Holy Bible in Yoruba Published as BIBELI MIMO ALAKOLE (Pelu Oro Jesu Ti A Fi Awo Pupa Ko Sile)

In addition to what we read in the preface; “No part of this publication may be reproduced by photocopying or by mechanical or by electronic means or in any other form without print written permission from the publisher.”

Finally, this Bible was printed by “The Bible Society of Nigeria, 18, Wharf Road, P.O. Box 68, Apapa Lagos, NIGERIA.”
Tel: 234-1-47743163, 8103747

So, put that into common sense and tell me what you get.
Alhamdulilah, once again, the good news is that Allah used us to show her the light of Islam.

We ended up telling her that the claims are far from the truth, gave da’wah to her and she embraced Islam.

Watch the video below for an account of the story and how she embraced Islam;

What Islam says about the day of Judgement and its events – Abubakar Ozemoya Irekpita Yusuf

0

As Muslims, belief in the day of judgement is an article of faith. The happenings on the Day of Judgement are part of the knowledge of the unseen. Anything from the unseen is only known from The Qur’aan, or from The Sunnah of The Prophet. The opinion of any scholar is not relied on in determining what is from the unseen. And to disbelieve in the knowledge of The Unseen is disbelief. The basis for the unseen are five, and they are mentioned in the last verse in suuratu Luqmaan, 34:

{Surely ALLAAH, the knowledge of the hour is with HIM, and HE sends down the rain and HE knows what is in the wombs; and no one knows what he shall earn on the morrow (future); and no one knows in what land he shall die; surely ALLAAH is Knowing, Aware}.

In an authentic hadeeth, The Prophet said “the keys to the unseen are five, none knows them except ALLAAH…” and HE mentioned the five above.

Resurrection
Everyone will die and be resurrected as ALLAAH has stated after mentioning the stages human went through in HIS creation of him, HE said:

{Then after that, you will all surely die. Then surely on the day of resurrection, you shall be raised}. Al-Mu’minuun, 15 & 16, and many other verses of the Qur’aan.

Every living being shall die, and the souls shall be returned on the day of judgement back to their body, not just in spirit, also in flesh.
{And the Trumpet will be blown, and whoever is in the heavens and the earth shall fall dead. Then it will be blown for the second time, and at once they will be standing, looking on.}, Az-Zumar, 68.

The unbelievers in The Prophet Time and even some in this day deny resurrection and belied The Qur’aan and Sunnah. But a Muslim can not deny this. This is why it is wrong when warned about the Hereafter, that you say: who have gone there to confirm? It is from the knowledge of the unseen and believing in it is not a choice.

Was he not a small seed in the seminal elements? Then he became a clot of blood, so HE created him then made (him)? Then HE made of him two pairs, the male and the female? Is He Who could do all that not capable of resurrecting the dead?”. Al-Qiyaamah, 37 – 40.

After the resurrection, people will be commanded to move towards, The “Mahshar”. The mahshar is where the people would gather, standing and waiting for judgement. They will stand naked, barefooted, uncircumcised. They will all sweat profusely. Some would differ in quantity of sweat. Some, their sweat will reach their ankles. Others, knees. Others, up to their neck. This sweating will be due to terror and anxiety. The standing on that day will last 50,000 years. All these are reported in authentic narrations. They will be naked and uncircumcised, not afraid or embarrassed of their nakedness.

Aa’ishah reported that The Prophet said:

The people will be assembled barefoot, naked, and uncircumcised.” I said, “O Messenger of ALLAAH, will the men and women look at each other?” The Prophet said, “The matter will be too serious for them to notice.”  (Bukhaariyy, (6075) Muslim, (5107)

Only seven categories of people will be saved from this. May we be from them. Aameen.

The Prophet said, “On the Day of Resurrection, the sun would draw so close to the people that there would be left a distance of only one mile” Muslim.

Nevertheless, on that day the believers will be shaded. ALLAAH mentions in the Qur’aan:

{{Indeed the righteous will be in shades and fountains}}. Mursalaat, 41.
As for the plane of Judgement, the people will be gathered on reddish white land like a pure loaf of bread (made from pure fine flour).” Sahl (the narrator) said, “It will have no landmarks for anyone (to make use of)” Al-Bukhaari, 6521. This means everywhere will be plane and no mountain, no tree, no hill, no even highland, nothing in that plane of judgement (al-Mahshar). You can stand in the east, and be looking at the west. ALLAAH said:

{They ask you in regards to the mountains, say: My Lord will blow them away with a blast}. Maryam, 105.
ALLAAH also said:

{On the Day when the earth will be changed to another earth and also will the heavens, and they (all creatures) will appear before ALLAAH, The One, The Irresistible. (Al-Waahidul Qahhaar). Anbiyaa, 48.

The day of judgement is a serious affair. May ALLAAH ease our affairs and make it easy on us and place us under HIS shades and fountains. Aameeen.

The Trumpet
The Suur (trumpet) will be blown and every single being created will die. ALLAAH said:

{And The Day on which the Trumpet will be blown, and all who are in the heavens and all who are on the earth, will be terrified except him whom ALLAAH will (exempt). And all shall come to HIM, humbled}. An-Naml, 87.

The Messenger of ALLAAH said: “The gaze of the one who will blow the Trumpet has been fixed since he was entrusted with it, looking towards the throne, ready (to blow it), in case he will be commanded to do so before he blinks, as if his eyes are two shining stars.” As-Silsilatus-Saheehah, 1078.

So, the Angel, Israafeel is ready to blow the first owing of the Trumpet, but waiting for ALLAAH to give the instruction.

In Saheeh Muslim (2940), it is narrated that ‘Abdullaah Ibn ‘Amr said: The Messenger of ALLAAH said: “… then the Trumpet will be blown and no one will hear it but he will bend his neck to one side and raise it from the other side. The first one who will hear it will be a man who is busy in setting right the cistern meant for supplying water to the camels. He will swoon and the other people will also swoon. Then ALLAAH will send down rain which will be like dew and bodies of people will grow out of it. Then the trumpet will be blown again, and they will stand up and begin to look around”. This is the second blowing of the trumpet.

ALLAAH also described this similarly in brief in this verse, and a verse earlier mentioned:

{And the trumpet shall be blown, so all that are in the heavens and all those that are in the earth shall swoon, except such as ALLAAH please; then it shall be blown again, then lo! they shall stand up looking onward}. Az-Zumar, 68.
Hmm! This day is worth preparing for with good deeds. We can never do good deeds enough. May ALLAAH overlook our shortfalls. Aameen.

Abuu Hurayrah said:

The Messenger of ALLAAH (صلى الله عليه و سلم) said: “Between the two blowings of the Trumpet there will be forty.” The people said, “O Abuu Hurayrah! Forty days?” He said: “I am not sure.” They said, “Forty years?” He said: “I am not sure.” They said, “Forty months?” He said: “I am not sure. Then ALLAAH will send rain down from the sky and they will grow as herbs grow. There is no part of a man which will not decay except a single bone at the base of the coccyx (tail bone), from which he will be re-created on the Day of Resurrection

The first one to be resurrected on that Day is the Prophet, صلى الله عليه و سلم. Then other creatures will wake too, after him. All that will be by the second blowing of the trumpet. And the scales will be set up on that day.

The Scale

{{And the weighing [of deeds] that Day will be the truth. So those whose scales are heavy – it is they who will be the successful. And as for those whose scale will be light, they are those who will lose their ownselves (by entering Hell)}, Al-A’raaf, 8-9.
The “Mawaazeen” (Scales) are established in the Qur’aan that they are real and true. The scales have two pans. The good deeds are placed in one pan, and the evil deeds are placed in the other. If the good deeds out weigh the evil, then there is success and salvation. There will be no perdition. But if his evil deeds are heavier then he may have failed and lost. ALLAAH stated:

{As for him who will be given his Record in his right hand, he will say: “Take, read my Record!} Al-Haaqqah, 19.

He will rejoice to receive his book by his right, as that signifies success. May ALLAAH count us among the successful ones.

{Take, read my Record! Indeed, I was certain that I would be meeting my account}, Al-Haaqqah} 19-20.

Meaning: in the world, he was certain this was going to happen. He knew that he was going to be held accountable on Judgement Day. And when he realised this on time, he prepared for it.

May ALLAAH protect our ‘eemaan and make us from those who prepared for The Last Day. Aameen.

As for the one whose scale of good deed was outweighed by the scale of evil deeds, he shall receive his record in his left hand. ALLAAH said about such, may we not be from this category:

{But as for he who is given his record in his left hand, he will say, “Oh, I wish I had not been given my record! And had not known what is my account. I wish my death had been the Decisive} one}, Al-haaqqah, 25-27. The meaning of Decisive is that he wishes he was never resurrected after death. That is, ‘I wish I had died and that was all” but nay!
{Does man think that he is to be left to wander without an aim?!}, Al-Qiyaamah, 36.
He (who’s scale of evil was more than that of good) would further say: {My wealth has not availed me. My authority is gone away from me}, Al-haaqqah, 28-29.
Wealth, linage, degrees, honour, nobility and what have you, will be useless that day. “My wealth has not availed me”.
يوم لا ينفع مال و لا بنون!!!

And in the end, he will be cast to hellfire. ALLAAH, after giving him his account would announce to the angels, {Arrest him and chain him down. Then drive him into The Hellfire. Then thrust him into a chain, the length of it which is seventy cubits. Indeed, he did not use to believe in ALLAAH, The Great, Nor did he encourage the feeding of the poor. So there is no devoted friend for him today, nor any food except from the discharge of wounds}, Al-haaqqah, 30-36.

May ALLAAH not let us experience this and may HE save us from hellfire, whose fuel is humans and stones.

AZ-ZINAA By Sanni K. Yusuf

The society is sunk in the ill. The home is drowned in its pit. Almost all have been squeezed by the heat. Zinaa is, unfortunately, the wind that has ravaged the carriage against its package.

Men dwell in the den, as well as women. Fathers flock the hotels and rock the minors young enough to be their offspring, even though they will not want the same ordeal meted out to their own daughters. What an injustice and disservice to logic. Mothers stoop extremely low that their thighs are voluntarily unleashed for teenage boys (tender enough to be their sons) to exploit the special organ therein. That is the order of the age. Sugar-parentism.

Colleagues at work desecrate the sanctity of the office by shagging one another on the table littering important files and significant documents with waters from both streams. The classy ninnies among them rather choose a brothel, or a hotel to make their satanism a reality. Among the shameless apes are those who adorn the wedding ring, but at the point of the shame, or in its process trash it from their fingers. What difference does it make? With or without the ring on, shame is shame.

Teachers ruin students’ lives by having carnal knowledge of them at their tender ages. They take advantage of the girls’ natural gullibility and unavoidable vulnerability. They entice them with material and non-material goodies in order to implant their fake love in their hearts. The avaricious get hypnotized into bed by some token of the nation’s currency. The voracious get mesmerized by mere eatery stuff, such as shawarma. The intellectually lazy get subjugated by a gift of undeserved marks. Many have had to abort babies belonging to their teachers. Some have given up the ghost due to the intake of drugs intended to terminate the pregnancies. Some have had their wombs irredeemably damaged from fertilizing egg for procreation. Some have dropped out of school on account of sudden pot bellies which is an aberration in the school system. The aftermath of zinaa is grave.

Neighbours give it to one another back to back. While the house is deserted of co-tenants and the kids are off to school, the man enters the woman’s apartment to rock her on her matrimonial bed. Today, a lot of men are nurturing children of their wives’ adultery mates as theirs. A friend of mine once told me of her wife’s confession in this regard. What a world of shame we now live in. We live with foes who parade themselves as friends. It’s pathetic.

The minors now take their lunch and dinner for breakfast. They do with one another what they are meant to do at the adult stage. They’ve been messed up by what they see in movies and that which they hear from musicians. They service one another as boyfriends and girlfriends. The so-called models and celebrities do it. So it’s okay. The songs they sing and the music they dance to are full of vulgarities capable of arouing the body into starvation for sex. The minds of the young sharps have been largely corrupted zinaa-wise.

The filth now permeates the worship centres. The alfa, as well as the pastor, has been eaten up by this vampire. Not all, anyway, but a large chunk lives with the guilt. We are in an era where clerics copulate female worshippers as a requisite for healing and salvation. Self-acclaimed sheikhs take advantage of the stupid solution-seekers. The hearing ability of their God is not trusted until they had consulted fellow sinners they rather glorify as saints. We hear deafening tales of how alfas offer to incise women’s genitals as remedy to their infertility problem. If the offerer were insane, shouldn’t the offeree take to the opposite?

“They are those who do not invoke any other god besides Allah, nor take a human life—made sacred by Allah—except with legal right, nor commit fornication. And whoever does any of this will face the penalty.* Their punishment will be multiplied on the Day of Judgment, and they will remain in it forever, in disgrace.* As for those who repent, believe, and do good deeds, they are the ones whose evil deeds Allah will change into good deeds. For Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.* And whoever repents and does good has truly turned to Allah properly.
[Surat Al-Furqan 68 – 71]

Read John 17:21., (That they all
may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in
thee, that they also may be one in us: that the
world may believe that thou hast sent me.), and
you will deduce that if God, Jesus and the Holy
Ghost form one unity of the Trinity, then with the
disciples included they should form a God unity of
fifteen (15).8 According to John 14:9, Jesus is
God;

…he that hath seen me hath seen the Father.”
Now let’s read John 4:24: “God is a Spirit…”
and John 5:37: ” …ye have neither heard His
voice at any time, nor seen His shape.” And 1
Timothy 6:16: ” …whom no man hath seen nor
can see….

As indicated in Exodus 33:20, human sight cannot
bear to look upon the glory of God and live, so
how can human flesh bear to have this Glory
wrapped up in it?14 What the disciples saw was
Jesus, the Prophet, and not God. John 5:37:

” …ye have neither heard His (God) voice at any
time, nor seen His shape,” also contradicts
Matthew 3:17 in which it is said that God was
heard saying “this is my beloved Son, in whom I
am well pleased.”

It is unclear to determine whether it is the holy
ghost, holy spirit, spirit of truth, spirit of God or
spirit in general that supposedly make up the
“trinity.” For the Nelson Bible dictionary indicates
that the Holy Ghost and the Holy Spirit are the
same, which is a contradiction to the belief of
some Christian sects.
