ỌLỌRUNÒṢEBI (THE CREATOR DOESN’T DO EVIL) – 1: ANALOGY ON EVIL

The evil that happened to be the tradition of some people is a well-planned package from the chief deceiver to lure the unheeding minds into all forms of indecency acts in the world. This is never an act of the Creator, only that many among mankind that perpetrate the evil acts refused to follow the divine plan of the Creator, and their greed and selfish interest made them follow the chief deceiver’s plan. The Creator is All-Forgiving and the Most Merciful, and the reason He set out the Divine Plan, to keep reminding the heeding minds on their purpose of creation. Hence the title; “Olórunòṣebi“.

Olórunòṣebi

Olórunòṣebi, a Yorùbá terminology denoting that; “The Creator is never a doer of evil“. Every act of the Creator is always good, such that He always want the best for His Creatures; to that, He recommended the performance of righteous deeds to the reasonable minds among the dwellers of earth.
The Creator doesn’t do evil as His Mercy and Forgiveness extend to all His Creatures in the universe, to live the life of contentment and commitment. This quality of His, made him enjoin virtue and all that is good on His Creation:

“Verily, those who believe, and do deeds of righteousness, and establish regular prayers and regular charity, will have their reward with their Lord: on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.” [Surah Al-Baqara, 2:277]

Olórunòṣebi, Rere ní Nṣe

Olórunòṣebi, rere ní nṣe (The Creator doesn’t do evil, but good) is a saying that should be in the mind of every reasonable beings, so that orientations, intentions, and actions may align and hence, mankind’s life on earth will be to please the Creator. He (Allah) will then keep His Promise to us, while we also keep to ours by observing the obligations and abstaining from the divine prohibitions.
…and whosoever fears Allah and keeps his duty to Him, He will make his matter easy for him,… expiate from him his sins, and will enlarge his reward” [Surah At-Talaq, 65:4-5]

Being among the dwellers of the earth, every righteous mind’s hands need to be on desk (togetherness) and stand for what is right in order to make our situation better. The Creator reminded the dwellers of the earth in the Glorious Book of Wisdom:
…Indeed, Allah will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves…” [Surah Ar-Ra’d, 13:11]

Thus, a collective support is required from every ethical and logical minded individuals in making positive development to the Nation. This is because, if the evil is left for the evil doers to continue, life will be more difficult on those who are able to react positively, but refused to use their capacity for goodness of the Nation.
May the Creator save us, our family and loved ones from calamity.
