Many a time when you see youths, especially ranging from fourteen to twenty-three engaging in immoralities, you will ask yourself “what exactly is this world turning into”? Life has been taken so roughly that youths of nowadays see immoralities as a big boys and big girls attitude.

In their teen years, the rate at which they practice immoral acts is on a high rate and quite alarming which needs urgent immersion so as to ameliorate the condition of the youths, as well as the society at large.

While I was passing through an area in my locality, I was perplexed seeing many teenagers who have left their respective homes on one or two conditions and reasons best known to them, in that atmosphere. One will think and ask himself, why would little young boys around fourteen decide to spend most of their teenage years under the bridge wandering around?

What could have happened?

Did he lost his parents?

Did he leave his house because of poverty?

Did he leave on his own opinion of exploring and becoming a big boy? These and more are questions that needs urgent answers.

The reality of the 21st century has made many teenagers thought they are independent and can stand on their own based on the fact that they are generating little funds from one or two business. While wandering in crave for wealth, many among the youths will lose their true faith to the worldly life or may be exploited to falsehood that subsequently diminish their faith.
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “Every child is born with a true faith of Islam (i.e. to worship none but Allah Alone) and his parents convert him to Judaism or Christianity or Magianism, as an animal delivers a perfect baby animal. Do you find it mutilated?” (Sahih Al-Bukhari Book 23, Hadith 138)

Losing one’s faith to falsehood as a Muslim is one of the greatest regret that will ever happen to mankind, which is caused by the youth desire for materialism, without parental guidance of life matter. Especially during the period of election, many youths of the Nation will be seen wandering around under the bridges and exposed to all sets of immoralities for the politicians. We would find many instance of the youths joining the political thugs, snatching of ballot box etc just in the name of feeding their stomachs.

If many of the youths are been deceived to believe the lies and heresies of the politicians who in real sense are only after their own personal gain, then for more reason, the sane ones need to start educating the unwary electorates and serve as the advocates of peace and unity for the betterment and progressive of the nation.

Had it been that the government authorities do the needed to be done, youths will be willing to support the government activities for better future. Notwithstanding, there are many youths who still strive hard in their capacity to reach the climax of success.

Dear Politicians, why not support our youths who are talented in one way or the other towards the achievement of a better nation and stop using our the gullible among the youths for your personal interest.

Dear Youths, hold tight to your goals, dreams and visions. No matter how rough the road to success may be, there will surely be a smiling face after the hard tears all day long.

“Verily, with every hardship comes ease!” – [Quran 94:6]

“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths”. – [Proverbs 3:5-6]
