R.I.P By Bashir Lucas Samson Lukman
In our world today, we seem not to pay attention to what is realistic rather we are drunken with the opium of illusions and delusions. This does not exclude those who lay claim to religion and those we consider highly educated.
When Whiz Khalifa featured Chalie Puth in See You Again as a tribute to Paul walker, I realized that many of us want the reality we don’t want to agree with. These people lost a friend that they hope to see again but not working towards seeing him again!
When we preach, especially to atheists, they look at us like retards. “No God! No paradise! No Hereafter! Death is the end of all!”, they scream and we wonder why they still say RIP! To have wished someone to rest in peace, does that not mean he could rest in pieces if not in peace?
What do we even say about the misconception that death is the end of all and the saying, ‘laid to rest’? You become a religious fanatic, extremists when a group of people that literally drink all the days of their life start to say RIP but you refuse to.
We really want our loved ones to rest in peace and it is in this world we could help them to rest in peace. If you don’t know, just start with the greeting of peace ;
