Assalam alaekum everyone.

I was listening to Popular Side on Brila FM yesterday when the Radio Anchor challenges any Pastor who is filled with the Holy Spirit to heal the Nigerian Goalkeeper, Carl Ikeme. He said this in a rather sober way as the many Televangelist do what is called ‘Selective Miracles’ via social media platforms.

Murphy Ijemba who is otherwise known as ‘Radio Paparazzi’ challenged all pastors who parade themselves in expensive cars, private jets, and living extravagantly to summon courage to visit the Nigerian goal-stopper on his hospital-bed and perform same so-called miracles they do say they perform in their churches and crusades.

Carl Onora Ikeme (born 8 June 1986) is a professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Championship club Wolverhampton Wanderers and the Nigeria national team. He has previously played, on loan, at Accrington Stanley, Stockport County, Charlton Athletic, Sheffield United, Queens Park Rangers, Leicester City, Middlesbrough, and Doncaster Rovers.

Carl Ikeme will undergo a course of chemotherapy after being diagnosed with acute leukaemia.

Ikeme has made over 200 appearances for the Championship club since breaking through from the youth ranks in 2003.
