A Federal High Court sitting in Kaduna, on Thursday, July 6, struck out a violation of human rights suit filed against the Nigerian Army by the leader of Islamic Movement of Nigeria, popularly known as Shi’ites, Ibrahim El Zakzaky.

In the suit which had the Nigerian Army, the Chief of Army Staff and two others as respondents, the Shi’ites leader, was seeking the sum of 2 billion naira as damages from the defendants for allegedly killing three of his children and destroying his house in December 2015.
